Where to Use Dragon Fangs?
During the Tears of the Kingdom campaign, players may notice four different dragons flying around Hyrule. These dragons, unlike the Gleeoks, pose little threat. They do not attack Link and, when struck with an arrow, will relinquish one of the following: a scale, claw or talon, horn, or fang.
The material acquired depends on which part of the dragon's body players target. Dragon Scales can be easily obtained from any part of the dragon, making them the most accessible. On the other hand, gathering claws and fangs proves more challenging due to the precision required by Link. However, Tears of the Kingdom necessitates Dragon Fangs for several armor upgrades, making them worthwhile despite the additional effort.
Farming Dragon Fangs in TotK
To acquire a Dragon Fang, players must accurately shoot an arrow directly into the dragon's mouth. Any shots that are too high or too low will only yield a Dragon Scale. For a successful Dragon Fang acquisition, players should:
Approach the dragon while maintaining a close distance and ensure that Link is aligned with the dragon's jaw. To alleviate concerns of falling, players can take advantage of the updraft to restore stamina by reopening the paraglider.
To enter bullet-time, use the ZR-button to draw the bow and aim for the seam of the dragon's mouth. If you're near enough to the dragon, press the A-button to grab the Fang before it drops. Otherwise, keep track of its landing spot by watching for sparkling Dragon Parts.
Each dragon in TotK follows its own flight path. After harvesting a part from a dragon, there is a 10-minute cooldown period. This cooldown timer progresses in real time, and if the game is paused, the cooldown will be temporarily halted. To efficiently wait for the cooldown to finish, it is advised to remain standing on the dragon's back. Remember to refrain from pausing TotK.

How to Get Shard of Light Dragon's Fang
The dragon part obtained from one dragon will vary from that of another. For instance, acquiring a Fang from the Light Dragon will result in obtaining a Shard of Light Dragon's Fang. If players require a Shard of Dinraal's Fang, they must specifically pursue Dinraal instead of the other dragons.
The Light Dragon, unlike the other dragons, avoids venturing into The Depths. It follows a flight route that conveniently passes by numerous Geoglyphs and Skyview Towers. Therefore, it is highly recommended to activate all the Skyview Towers along its path.
If players lack the Master Sword, they may travel to Korok Forest (located through the Chasm north of Woodland Stable) to eliminate Phantom Ganon residing within the Great Deku Tree's stomach. Once the darkness has dissipated from the forest, conversing with the Great Deku Tree will initiate a supplementary quest that traces the whereabouts of the Light Dragon. This will significantly facilitate locating her.
In the event that players already possess the Master Sword, the tracker will not be utilized, and the Master Sword side quest will be designated as finished.
Unlike the other dragons, the Light Dragon poses no harm to Link. This characteristic makes her the most manageable to acquire resources from, as players can simply perch on her back and patiently wait for cooldown periods. Nevertheless, since she traverses cold regions, players should equip themselves with two pieces of cold-resistant gear or consume a Chilly Elixir.
How to Get Shard of Dinraal's Fang

This awe-inspiring creature will venture deep into The Depths at the Drenan Highlands Chasm before elegantly emerging onto The Surface from the East Akkala Plains Chasm. As players eagerly seek proximity to Dinraal, they can navigate towards the following notable landmarks:

While Dinraal is not known for being aggressive, there is still a risk of unintentionally setting Link on fire if he happens to land on her back. As a result, players are advised to refrain from equipping any flammable wooden armor or weapons, and instead opt for heat-resistant gear like the Flamebreaker Set.
Naydra can be found in a location opposite to that of Dinraal. She emerges from the Naydra Snowfield Chasm and ventures into the East Hill Chasm. To locate her, players should follow the path outlined by the following landmarks:

How to Get Shard of Farosh's Fang

Where to Use Dragon Fangs?
: Thunderstorms surround Farosh, posing a grave danger to Link if he is adorned with any metallic gear. It is crucial to remove all metal equipment to ensure his safety. Much like Dinraal and Naydra, Farosh emanates electric sparks from its body, which can result in a shocking experience if encountered. Should Link find himself atop Farosh's back when struck by electricity, there is a possibility of inadvertently dropping his weapon. To counteract this peril, the consumption of Electro Elixirs or donning a level-2 Desert Voe Set, offering Shock Resistance, is highly recommended.
Dragon Parts have the unique ability to enhance the effects of elixirs when used in cooking. Despite being categorized as monster parts, they can be combined with food to create potent concoctions. By combining a Dragon Fang with a Razorshroom, Link will receive a substantial boost in attack power.
The Great Fairy Fountains also serve as another location to utilize Dragon Fangs. When Link aids the Stable Trotters in performing music for one of the Great Fairies, he gains the opportunity to enhance his armor at the corresponding fountain.
