Unraveling the Mystery of Zelda's Sky Fish Land

As Link embarks on his quest, he encounters numerous puzzles that test his problem-solving skills. One such puzzle proves to be particularly difficult as he navigates the Zora section of the game.

The puzzle in question is part of the "Clues to the Sky" questline and involves deciphering several key phrases provided by Prince Sidon and his researcher, Jiahto. These phrases include "Land of the Skyfish," "Floating rock in the shape of a droplet," and "Mark of the King." By understanding the meaning behind each of these riddles, Link can successfully solve the puzzle and progress through Prince Sidon's storyline.

So, how can Link find the Land of the Sky Fish in Tears of the Kingdom? This guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to decipher the clues and solve the puzzle.

Upon returning to Prince Sidon after his meeting with King Dorephan at the Pristine Sanctum, the two discuss the next phase of the puzzle. Link's next objective is to reach the 'Land of the Sky Fish,' though there is little information provided as to what this entails. Fortunately, the answer is quite straightforward and literal.

When exploring the map, players can switch to the Sky view to discover several Sky Islands hovering above Zora's Domain. One island in particular, located at the far right of the Lanayru Sky Archipelago, is shaped like a fish. Despite not having access to any of the surrounding Sky Islands, Link can still reach the 'Land of the Sky Fish' with ease if he wears the Zora Armor.

From Mipha's Court, Link has a clear view of an island nearby that boasts a stunning waterfall cascading down its edge. With a leap from the cliff and a glide, Link can reach the waterfall and swim up to the top with ease while donning the Zora Armor. This will reveal the breathtaking Floating Scales Island.

If Link chooses not to use the Zora Armor, there is an alternative method to reach the island. The materials required to make a hot air balloon can be found nearby. However, it is recommended to use the Zora Armor as it will prove to be more useful throughout Tears of the Kingdom. As Link sets foot on Floating Scales Island, he is met with a peculiar sight - debris suspended in mid-air. Little does he know, these floating stones hold the solution to the 'Droplet' puzzle. To uncover the answer, players must make their way to the island's apex which lies at its core.

Players should head to the western edge and observe the floating debris from that viewpoint. Upon closer inspection, they'll notice that the debris takes on the shape of a water droplet. To successfully progress, players must shoot an arrow fused with one of the King's Scales through the droplet. This can be done by pressing ZR to equip Link's bow, holding up on the D-pad, opening the Fuse menu, selecting the King's Scale with the right stick, releasing the D-pad, aiming, and firing the arrow with ZR. The exact coordinates of Link's position must be 4073, 0528, 0603.

Upon entering the droplet, a beam of light will be triggered, emanating from the reservoir below, and completing this task will solve the puzzle and ultimately end "Clues to the Sky." Once completed, players can then return to Prince Sidon and seamlessly continue their journey through the "Sidon of the Zora" main quest.
