Oscar De La Hoya Praises Travis Barker for Stepping Up to Raise Atiana - An Inspiring Story
Travis Barker's unwavering role as a father figure to Atiana De La Hoya, long after his split with Shanna Moakler, fills Oscar De La Hoya's heart with gratitude

Oscar De La Hoya expressed admiration for Travis Barker and shared how he appreciates Barker's involvement in raising his 24-year-old daughter, Atiana.
Shanna Moakler and De La Hoya had a child named Atiana in 1999. Afterward, Moakler married Barker in October 2004, and they had two children together - son Landon, now 19, and daughter Alabama, now 17. However, they eventually divorced in 2008.
The boxer, currently promoting his HBO documentary, The Golden Boy, mentioned that he has accepted the fact that he hasn't been present as a father.
De La Hoya expressed his gratitude for the involvement of his children's mothers in parenting and acknowledged that they played a crucial role in raising their kids. He particularly appreciated Barker's presence as a father figure for his daughter Atiana and acknowledged Shanna's motherly role. De La Hoya understood his place as a father and expressed pride in it, but also recognized the important contributions of others. He specifically praised Barker for his responsible actions and emphasized his high level of respect for him.
In response to a fan's question about Travis claiming to have raised his daughter, the fighter expressed his deep admiration and respect for Travis Barker on Instagram Story in December 2021. He stated, "I hold nothing but respect for my man @travisbarker."

Atiana, De La Hoya's son Jacob, 25, with Toni Alvarado, and son Devon, 24, with Angelicque McQueen, share a bond with each other. De La Hoya also has three more children, Oscar, 17, Nina, 14, and Victoria, 9, with his estranged wife Milagros "Millie" Corretjer. They got married in October 2001 but announced their separation in 2016, and De La Hoya filed for divorce in January.
Not only does Atiana have a connection with Barker and De La Hoya's other children but she also gained more siblings when the Blink-182 drummer tied the knot with Kourtney Kardashian in May 2022. The reality star, 44, has three children, Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, from her previous relationship with Scott Disick.
Kourtney and Travis will expand their family when they welcome their first child together, a baby boy, later this year. The Kardashians star publicly announced her pregnancy last month.
