The members of the Kar-Jenner family responded affectionately to the news of Kourtney Kardashian's pregnancy.

Kim Kardashian, Kourtney's younger sister, was the initial family member to extend her congratulations to the 44-year-old and her husband, Travis Barker. The 43-year-old Skims businesswoman responded to the couple's joint Instagram post with heart and pregnant woman emojis.

Kourtney's younger sisters, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, also expressed their excitement for Baby Kravis via Instagram, congratulating the couple on their pregnancy. The announcement of their first child together was made by Kourtney and Barker during his Blink-182 concert on Friday, June 16, through an Instagram video. In the video, Kourtney held up a handwritten poster that revealed her pregnancy, paying homage to Barker's band's iconic music video "All the Small Things," which debuted 14 years ago.

During the show, Barker's bandmate Mark Hoppus excitedly shared an announcement about Travis. He celebrated the fact that Travis is going to be a father, highlighting the joyous news of someone's successful reproductive abilities. This will be Travis' first child with his girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, who is the creator of Poosh. Kourtney already has three children from a previous relationship with Scott Disick, including her eldest son Mason, her daughter Penelope, and her son Reign.

After their split in 2015, Kardashian dedicated herself to fostering a cordial coparenting dynamic with the star of Flip It Like Disick.

Expressing her satisfaction, the University of Arizona graduate shared in an April 2019 YouTube video, "I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made as parents and the efforts we have invested to reach this point. We independently created our own schedule and made it work."

When Kardashian began a relationship with the Blink-182 drummer, her dynamic with Disick took a different direction.

According to an exclusive source in May 2021, Scott and Kourtney's relationship is under strain. They have limited communication unless it involves their children. Scott not only feels disconnected from Kourtney but also from the entire Kardashian family. His biggest fear was being out of touch with his "family," and now his distance from Kourtney is deeply affecting him.

Later, Barker, who is 46 years old, proposed to Kardashian. Another insider revealed that the engaged couple plans to have children together. Kourtney held up a handwritten poster in the clip, revealing, "Travis, I'm pregnant." The sign paid tribute to his band's music video for "All the Small Things," which premiered exactly 14 years ago.

"They are certain to have a child together, it's only a matter of when and in what way," a source revealed to Us after the Grammy nominee's beach proposal in October 2021. "Kourtney ideally prefers a natural birth. She is confident that it won't pose any issues because she has always been fortunate enough to conceive naturally and has taken good care of her physical well-being. However, if she is unable to conceive, she and Travis are open to considering other alternatives in order to bring their own child into the world."

In preparation for Kravis' wedding in May 2022, they explored the option of in vitro fertilization (IVF) to assist them in conceiving a baby. However, they ultimately decided to put their attempts on hold while they focused on planning their wedding.
