Adding to the excitement, Destiny 2's game director, Joe Blackburn, remains transparent about Bungie's plans for the game, particularly regarding the Crucible mode. Blackburn recently shared more details about the studio's long-term vision for PvP, acknowledging their previous focus on pleasing everyone, which ultimately resulted in disappointing no one. Where is Xur?

This weekend, Destiny 2 players will want to head to the Winding Cove, in the EDZ.

Fast travel to the Winding Cove zone and promptly make your way towards the rear area where the Fallen usually keep watch. Ascend the cliffs in this vicinity to discover Xur positioned on a ledge, situated a short distance away from a wreckage of a ship.

Class Armor and Exotic Cipher

Xur still fulfills his usual role of providing weekly quests, exotic items, and legendary gear. These quests are important not only for obtaining a second fated engram but also for acquiring legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a fresh cipher by completing strikes and winning matches in the crucible or gambit. Bonus points can be earned for playing with clan mates or tackling more difficult activities.

Moreover, Xur has expanded his inventory to include additional gear beyond his regular offerings. Alongside his exotic gear, Xur now offers Legendary Weapons and Armor for purchase using Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Solar Titans should definitely consider acquiring the Sunfire Furnace this week, as it offers a valuable alternative to the previously mobility-focused rolls. With a total score of 68, it is definitely worth picking up.

Exotic Weapon

This weapon gained notoriety due to its past dominance in the Crucible, particularly when Prometheus Lens was excessively powerful and wreaked havoc. Although its effectiveness has been significantly reduced since then, it can still provide enjoyment in specific scenarios.

The weapon's intrinsic perk, Prismatic Inferno, allows it to shoot a Solar beam and create a growing heat field as it continues firing. Its additional unique perk, Flame Refraction, replenishes a portion of the expended ammo from reserves, prolonging the duration of the beam. While it may not be a necessary purchase this week, it could provide enjoyable gameplay in various PvE activities.
