In order to lower the temperature of the hot spring located south of the Beryl Region Statue of the Seven, players in Genshin Impact need to venture into the underwater volcanic region responsible for the excessive heat and submerge it with water.

People can simply dive into the sea and find the area, but it’s best to let the game direct the way by unlocking the Precious Chest in the middle of the pool.

How To Unlock The Precious Chest In The Middle Of The Hot Spring

To unlock the Precious Chest in the middle of the hot spring, players need to find three Water Volume Detection Crystals in the area. Here’s how players can get them:

Head north from the middle, take the purple Ousia Block from atop a branch, and hit the yellow Pneumousia Storage Box next to it to break it. Afterward, press

move

so that the mechanism shifts to the middle of the hot spring.

Head southwest from the first spot and burn the branches that are trapping the Crystal. Again, move the Water Volume Detection Crystals to the middle.

Find some fire crabs to the southeast for the final Water Crystal.

Once all three Water Volume Detection Crystals are positioned in the center, grab the Miraculous Hydrograna that rests atop the stone and remain submerged in the water to transform it into a Hydro Core. In addition, players can harness the power of Hydro abilities, such as Kokomi's Skill, to foster the growth of the Hydrograna and simultaneously activate the Water Crystals.

Open the Precious Chest after it has been unsealed, and players will discover the presence of a Water Ring, which grants them access to the submerged volcanic area. The location where players must venture to cool down the scorching hot spring is unmistakable, owing to the intense heat radiating from the numerous red-colored and Pyro enemies inhabiting the vicinity.

How To Cool The Hot Water Down

To cool the hot spring south of Beryl Region Statue of the Seven, start by defeating all nearby Genshin Impact enemies to stop them from hindering the next process.

Subsequently, players are required to simultaneously extinguish the three torches within the vicinity. The torches will ignite instantaneously once they are no longer under the influence of Hydro, hence players are prohibited from extinguishing them individually.

The optimal method to deactivate all of them is to gather Miraculous Hydrograna and deposit it into the accessible Hydro Core container. A single Hydrograna can be located in close proximity to the mini-volcano situated in the center, while an additional three can be acquired by demolishing certain Explosive Hydro Barrels marginally south of the volcano.

Once all three torches have been extinguished, the Hydro Monument located in the center will become accessible.
