A Genshin Impact fan has come up with an intriguing idea to blend Yelan's attire with Kafka from Honkai: Star Rail. It's widely known that many characters in the world of Teyvat draw inspiration from the playable units in Honkai, which is HoYoverse's second most popular franchise.
Honkai has its own versions of beloved characters like Venti, Raiden Shogun, and Yae Miko. Genshin Impact is famous for exploring various concepts that involve taking playable characters and placing them in different settings, such as anime series or other popular franchises like Pokemon or Mario.
A fascinating fan-art created by Reddit user blackenedskeleton has caught the attention of Genshin Impact fans. The artwork showcases a unique outfit swap between Yelan from Genshin Impact and Kafka from Honkai. With over 900 upvotes on the official subreddit, fans are showing their appreciation for the concept, stating that the outfits perfectly reflect the personalities and overall design of both characters. Kafka, a member of the Stellaron Hunters and an upcoming playable unit in Honkai: Star Rail version 1.0, shares Yelan's calm demeanor even during intense combat situations.
Interestingly, some fans have suggested that Eula, a five-star character who has not appeared on the limited character banner in over a year, would also look great in Kafka's outfit. Yelan, on the other hand, was recently featured in Genshin Impact version 3.4 alongside the fiery Pyro user Hu Tao.
Their banner has shattered Genshin Impact's overall revenue record, despite featuring two re-runs. Yelan is widely regarded as one of the strongest Hydro users in the game, capable of dealing massive damage even while on the field. Her sub-DPS and support capabilities make her an invaluable asset to any team composition that requires a powerful Hydro character. Initially, Yelan was considered to be only marginally stronger than Xingqiu, a five-star character.
However, Yelan has since established herself as one of the game's finest characters, with a distinctive kit that allows players to experiment with their playstyle and team composition. Although Kafka is rumored to be released in June or July, Genshin Impact players must wait several months for the chance to obtain Yelan, and she is unlikely to be featured on a banner before the arrival of Fontaine.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
