A Red Dead Redemption 2 player accidentally transformed a horse into a burnt state while playing the open world western game. In Red Dead Redemption 2, there are a variety of horses that players can utilize to increase their travel speed. These horses vary in shape and size, with some having superior statistics compared to others.
Notably, the player character is not the only one capable of utilizing horses in the game. Numerous other characters, including law enforcement, can be seen riding on horseback in Red Dead Redemption 2. In situations where players find themselves on the wrong side of the law, the law enforcement frequently use their horses to chase after the player character, Arthur Morgan. Recently, a Reddit user named Shot_by_cops shared an instance where a law enforcement horse was transformed into a burnt state.
A Reddit user recounted an intriguing incident in which they accidentally shot a lawman with incendiary shotgun ammo during a game of Red Dead Redemption 2. Surprisingly, the ammo hit the horse, engulfing it in flames. Remarkably, the horse managed to survive until the fire eventually subsided. To revive the horse, the player utilized a horse revive, but the burns remained, giving the creature a distinct appearance that made it stand out from the others in the game's vast open world.
Unfortunately, those hoping to obtain a burned horse for themselves will be disappointed to learn that the horse returned to its normal state after the player fast-traveled. While this outcome is undoubtedly good news for the horse, it brings disappointment to Red Dead Redemption 2 players who were eager to have this unique horse variant in their collection.
Previously, there was an official Undead Horse variation available in Red Dead Redemption. The Undead Nightmare DLC allowed players to experience riding a horse that had been transformed into a zombie. Many fans had hoped that Rockstar would also create a DLC similar to Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption 2, but unfortunately, this never materialized.
Although a Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2 may not become a reality, there is exciting news for fans of the franchise. Trusted sources have indicated that a remastered version of Red Dead Redemption is currently in development and could be released in the near future. It remains uncertain whether the remaster will include the Undead Nightmare content.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
