Bungie has unveiled the armor sets for Season 22 of Destiny 2. The season's name is still unknown, but it will be revealed at the Bungie showcase on August 22. During the ongoing Destiny 2 Season of the Deep, the Guardians were unsure of the Witness's location and how to find them. However, Sloane, an old ally, reappeared on Titan and introduced the team to Ahsa, a sea creature who shared information about the Witness's origins. It was also revealed that the Guardians will need Savathun's assistance to pursue the Witness. With this in mind, Season 22 will establish an interesting foundation for The Final Shape. Bungie has now unveiled some thrilling armor pieces for the season.

Destiny 2's official Twitter account has revealed the armor sets with a wooden theme, hinting at the return of Savathun and her Ghost, Immaru. The image also showcases an environment resembling Savathun's Throne World, suggesting that the Guardians may be heading there.

In addition to the new armor sets, Season 22 will bring various changes to the game. This includes the introduction of an Exotic Mission Rotator, featuring beloved missions like Presage and Vox Obscura. Bungie is also planning to enhance underutilized Exotics in order to encourage more buildcrafting within the community. Furthermore, players can expect a new Hand Cannon archetype with burst-fire capabilities, and the Dead Man's Tale Exotic Scout Rifle will become a craftable weapon starting Season 22.

Additionally, Bungie has revealed the latest Artifact Mods for Season 22 of Destiny 2. This exciting update also introduces Elemental Orbs for the Arc, Void, and Solar subclasses, taking inspiration from Strand Tangles. These powerful orbs can be thrown at enemies to deliver electrifying jolts, scorching flames, or volatile explosions. Furthermore, Season 22 will feature the return of a classic raid, potentially being Crota's End as hinted by various leaks. Destiny 2 is accessible on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
