Unveiling Destiny 2's Enigmatic Festival of the Lost Memento: Unravel the Mystery

Unlock the coveted Lost Memento in Destiny 2 with dedication and skill Discover the ultimate guide to acquiring this brand new treasure, requiring players to conquer formidable challenges and embark on an unforgettable journey

Weapon crafting was introduced to Destiny 2 with the release of The Witch Queen expansion in 2022. While Bungie has added numerous crafting options since then, they seem to have overlooked the inclusion of additional Mementos. Mementos are exclusive items that can be incorporated into a crafted weapon. These not only bestow a unique title upon the weapon, but also unlock a distinct shader for the attached weapon.

Previously, Grandmaster Nightfalls, Gambit, and Trials of Osiris were the sole sources of Mementos. However, a new Memento called the Lost Memento is now exclusively available to Destiny 2 players during the Festival of the Lost.

How to Get the Lost Memento

To acquire the Lost Memento, players must successfully accomplish the Twilight Triumph. The specific steps for this Triumph remain concealed, appearing only as an array of question marks. Even upon completion of the objectives, they will persist in appearing in the same enigmatic form. The steps for the Twilight Triumph are outlined below:

- Conquer the FALLEN S.A.B.E.R. strike while donning the Clovis Bray mask.

Kill 100 enemies on Neomuna with the Nimbus mask equipped.

Kill 25 enemeis with finishers in Haunted Sectors on Legend difficulty while having the Tormentor mask equipped.

To progress in the Twilight Triumph, players must ensure that they have unlocked and equipped all three masks on their Masquerade helmet. The three required masks (Clovis Bray, Nimbus, and the Tormentor) can be obtained by completing specific challenges during the Festival of the Lost. Begin by completing the introduction quest for Festival of the Lost to acquire the Clovis Bray mask.

Focus an Eerie Engram to obtain the Nimbus mask.

Kill 100 Headless Ones to obtain the Tormentor Mask.

The current issue with killing 100 Headless Ones is that it only counts if they are killed on Legend difficulty. Bungie is aware of this bug and is working to resolve it.

After completing all three objectives for the Twilight Triumph, players can claim the Triumph to receive the Lost Memento. Obtaining the Lost Memento also grants players a slight chance of acquiring additional ones when opening Eerie Engrams.

However, please note that players can only carry one Lost Memento at a time. Therefore, if they wish to obtain additional ones for their crafted weapons, they must first utilize the one present in their inventory before seeking out more.

Destiny 2 is available now on Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
