Rewritten

In Honkai: Star Rail, defeating the Abundant Ebon Deer requires careful team composition. While players have been able to encounter this enemy since version 1.0, it is only in version 1.2 that the Abundant Ebon Deer becomes a boss in the Simulated Universe.

How To Beat Abundant Ebon Deer In Honkai: Star Rail

To overpower the Abundant Ebon Deer in Honkai: Star Rail, players must first conquer World 7 in the Simulated Universe. This requires dedicated effort, as the preceding Worlds 5 and 6 must be successfully completed. Once the necessary prerequisites are met, it is crucial for players to comprehend the inner workings of this magnificent creature. Failing to do so will result in catastrophic consequences for the Trailblazers, as this sentient being possesses the power to bring death instead of salvation.

Unleash Your Skills: Conquering the Majestic Ebon Deer in Honkai: Star Rail

The players of Abundant Ebon Deer encounter two phases in the Honkai: Star Rail Trailblaze mission and Forgotten Hall. However, in Simulated Universe World 7, the encounter is heightened to three phases, making it significantly more challenging to overcome.

In all phases, the boss possesses the following abilities:

Deal Lightning DMG to a single target

Deal Wind DMG to everyone

For every buff the Abundant Ebon Deer gains, DMG dealt by the boss and Branches increases by a small amount

Phase 1

During the initial phase, the Abundant Ebon Deer possesses the phase-exclusive skill to summon two Ambrosial Arbor Branches, either the "Twig of Wintry Wind" or the "Twig of Marple Leaf". The boss also has the ability to summon the alternative type in the subsequent phases.

Twig of Wintry Wind

Weakness: Ice, Quantum, Imaginary

Toughness: 90

Unique ability: Inflicts Wind damage on a single target and has the capability to impose the Outrage debuff. The Outrage debuff prevents the affected target from taking any action, while they automatically launch a basic attack against a random unit from the opposing side of the Abundant Ebon Deer.

Appearance: Somewhat green and blue in color, like winter and wind

Twig of Marple Leaf

Weakness: Fire, Quantum

Toughness: 90

Special Ability: Enhances the Abundant Ebon Deer and significantly increases the boss' ATK. Additionally, this Branch can enter a Counter state, resulting in Lightning DMG being inflicted upon attackers.

Appearance: Predominantly brown/black with elegant touches of gold.

Phase 2

Exclusive Phase Skill: Upon the commencement of each phase, the boss conjures forth 2 Twigs of Marple Leaf, 1 Twig of Wintry Wind, and 1 Twig of Glorious Blooms. During combat, the boss possesses the ability to replenish its HP by a considerable degree.

In phase 2, the Abundant Ebon Deer possesses dual recovery abilities. The first stems from the boss' own set of moves, while the second is derived from the Twig of Glorious Blooms. At the start of the stage, the boss will summon all four Branches.

Weakness: Ice, Imaginary

Toughness: 90

Special ability: Restore all ally's HP

Appearance: Has flowers growing on the branches

Phase 3

Exclusive Ability: Upon entering the phase, conjures forth a pair of Twigs of Abundant Harvest, accompanied by a Twig of Autumnal Leaves and a Twig of Chilling Breeze. Additionally, the adversary gains the power to temporarily enhance its defense and dispel any vulnerabilities.

In the final phase, the Abundant Ebon Deer takes an offensive approach rather than a defensive one. The two Twigs of Lavish Fruits do not directly attack, but they have the ability to produce Lavish Fruits. Once two of these fruits are generated, the Deer immediately utilizes Flamboyant Gore, causing significant Lightning damage to the entire team. This ability also inflicts more damage for each Branch present on the field. Upon executing this move, the existing Twigs will be eliminated.

Destroying these Branches becomes crucial as they enable the Abundant Ebon Deer's Ultimate ability. Additionally, the boss's capability to remove Weakness implies that players cannot rely on controlling the boss to avoid the Flamboyant Gore.

Twig of Lavish Fruits

Weakness: Fire, Quantum, Imaginary

Toughness: 120

Special ability: Produce Lavish Fruits, so the boss can use Flamboyant Gore

Appearance: Golden and has fruits hanging from its branches (once it bears Lavish Fruits)

In Honkai: Star Rail, the Abundant Ebon Deer possesses a variety of formidable abilities, making it essential for players to understand how to effectively counter each of its branches. Firstly, employing a cleanser can prove invaluable in eliminating the debilitating Outrage debuff inflicted by the Wintry Wind. Additionally, it is highly advantageous to utilize either Fire or Quantum abilities to diminish the resilience of both the boss and its branches. While Ice and Imaginary skills are also beneficial, their significance is not as paramount as that of Fire and Quantum.
