Team Composition (coming soon) | Best Light Cone | ||
Kafka, a distinguished character from Nihility, possesses a distinct ability to manipulate DoT in Honkai: Star Rail. However, not all Nihility Light Cones are compatible with her, as they may not provide the necessary stats and buffs she requires. To optimize Kafka's effectiveness alongside her team, it is advisable to equip her with a Light Cone that enhances her damage against debuffed enemies. Alternatively, players can opt for Light Cones that amplify her overall damage, considering her abundance of methods for inflicting Lightning damage in Honkai: Star Rail.
8 Hidden Shadow
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
846 | 317 | 264 |
S5 Passive | ||
After using Skill, the wearer's next Basic ATK deals an additional DMG equal to 120% of ATK to the target enemy. |
For players who are not interested in investing in Kafka's build, Hidden Shadow offers the simplest and least demanding option. This 3-star Nihility Light Cone can be easily upgraded to S5 by players. It serves as a good starting weapon for beginners, providing Kafka with the necessary stats and a slight increase in damage to her Basic ATK. However, it is recommended that even beginners avoid relying too heavily on her Basic ATK, unless all Skill points have been allocated elsewhere.
7 Incessant Rain
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
1058 | 582 | 463 |
Passive | ||
Increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 24%%. When the wearer deals DMG to an enemy that currently has 3 or more debuffs, increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12%. After the wearer uses their Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, there is a 100% chance to implant Aether Code on a random target that does not yet have it and was hit by the ability. Targets with Aether Code receive 12% increased DMG for 1 turn. |
Nihility characters who adopt a supportive approach by debuffing enemies and enhancing allies' performance find Incessant Rain to be more effective. Conversely, Kafka, an offensive Nihility unit, relies on her entire team to amplify the damage inflicted by her Damage over Time effects. In the context of Honkai: Star Rail, Light Cone should not be Kafka's primary choice as it doesn't synergize well with her playstyle of maximizing DoT damage.
6 Fermata
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
952 | 476 | 330 |
S5 Passive | ||
Increases Break Effect dealt by the wearer by 32%, and increases their DMG to enemies afflicted with Shock or Wind Shear by 32%. This also applies to DoT. |
In terms of performance, Fermata is slightly less effective than Eyes of the Prey for Kafka. However, it is recommended to choose Fermata over Eyes of the Prey as players can easily upgrade Fermata to S5. Additionally, the F2P 4-star Light Cone enhances Kafka's Shock damage and improves her Break Effect damage.
5 Eyes Of The Prey
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
952 | 476 | 330 |
Passive | ||
Increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 20% and increases DoT by 24%. |
Kafka's strategy in Honkai: Star Rail revolves around utilizing shock-inducing attacks and maximizing damage over time (DoT). To accomplish this, Eyes of the Prey serves as an invaluable weapon for her. This 4-star Light Cone not only enhances her DoT capabilities but also improves her Effect Hit Rate, allowing Kafka to apply more DoTs efficiently. As she reaches the S5 level, Eyes of the Prey becomes comparable to In the Name of the World, a 5-star Light Cone that Kafka can effectively wield.
4 We Will Meet Again
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
846 | 529 | 330 |
Passive | ||
After the wearer uses Basic ATK or Skill, deals Additional DMG equal to 48% of the wearer's ATK to a random enemy that has been attacked. |
One issue with battle pass weapons is the difficulty in obtaining their superimposition. While We Will Meet Again at S1 serves as a satisfactory Light Cone for Kafka, it falls short in comparison to other S5 4-star Light Cones such as Eyes of the Prey or Fermata.
3 In the Name of the World
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
1058 | 582 | 463 |
Passive | ||
Increases the wearer's DMG to debuffed enemies by 24%. When the wearer uses their Skill, the Effect Hit Rate for this attack increases by 18%, and ATK increases by 24%. |
In Honkai: Star Rail, the Name of the World is a highly regarded 5-star Light Cone. Kafka can fully utilize all the benefits offered by this Light Cone, including its Base Stats and the buffs from its passive ability. For players who do not possess Patience Is All You Need, the Name of the World serves as an excellent substitute.
2 Good Night And Sleep Well
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
952 | 476 | 330 |
Passive | ||
For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 12%, stacking up to 3 time(s). This effect also applies to DoT. |
Units like Kafka greatly benefit from having a damage boost against enemies affected by Damage over Time (DoT) effects. This is particularly advantageous because Kafka's abilities, such as Good Night and Sleep Well Light Cone, allow her to deal significant additional damage. Moreover, Kafka's team strategy revolves around constantly debuffing enemies, thereby maximizing the potential of her DoTs. At S5, this 4-star Light Cone ability matches Patience Is All You Need in terms of damage output.
1 Patience Is All You Need
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
1058 | 582 | 463 |
Passive | ||
Increases DMG dealt by the wearer by 24%. After every attack unleashed by the wearer, the wearer's SPD increases by 4.8%, stacking up to 3 times. If the wearer hits an enemy target that is not affected by Erode, there is a 100% base chance to inflict Erode on the target. Enemies afflicted with Erode are also considered to be Shocked and will receive Lightning DoT at the start of each turn equal to 60% of the wearer's ATK, lasting for 1 turn. |
Kafka's most powerful asset in Honkai: Star Rail is the Patience Is All You Need Light Cone. This Light Cone not only provides impressive Base stats, but also offers a remarkable passive ability that enhances Kafka's turn speed and inflicts additional damage over time on enemies. Eventually, Kafka will unleash her Skill to obliterate these enemies. Honkai: Star Rail is currently accessible on Android, iOS, and PC, with a PlayStation version currently in the works.
