The video showcases the utilization of a range of formidable weapons and skills, such as freezing arrows, explosive gadgets, and electrified arrows.
Though Tears of the Kingdom presently lacks a Master Mode, the prospect of observing comparable strategies employed against a Gold-Maned Lynel would undoubtedly be exhilarating if Nintendo were to introduce this game mode.
A highly skilled player of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom accomplished the impressive feat of defeating a Silver-Maned Lynel in less than a minute. The video showcasing this achievement is one of the most remarkable ways to bring down a Lynel in Tears of the Kingdom so far.
When The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released in 2017, no mini-boss struck more fear than the Lynel. These centaur-like creatures freely roam Hyrule and can easily vanquish Link with a single blow. In Tears of the Kingdom, the Lynels have returned, and they are just as formidable. Overcoming a Lynel is usually worth the effort due to the powerful weapons players receive as a reward. However, defeating a Lynel is no easy task. The game features four different types of Lynels, each with varying difficulty levels determined by the color of their manes. Red and Blue-maned Lynels are the most manageable, while White-Maned Lynels pose greater challenges. Yet, the Silver-Maned Lynels prove to be the most daunting adversaries to conquer.
Reddit user Galacticalized shared an impressive video of them taking down a Silver Lynel in Tears of the Kingdom. The video showcases a series of skillful moves by Link. It begins with the Lynel spotting Link and charging towards him. Link reacts quickly by shooting frozen arrows, performing a flurry rush, and dropping a fused explosive on the Lynel's head. He then follows up with electrified arrows, another flurry rush, and a remarkable move where he fires five arrows that loop around the Lynel while attacking it from its back. The climax of the video features Link jumping in the air and launching five Timed Bombs towards the Lynel, resulting in a dramatic finish.
The clip contains many intricate details. Firstly, Link is wearing the Lightning Helm, which protects him from lightning attacks. He is equipped with a Savage Lynel Bow that allows him to shoot five arrows simultaneously. The explosive device used at the beginning of the video is actually a combination of six regular explosive barrels. Furthermore, the arrows that loop around the Lynel are infused with Electric Keese Eyeballs, giving them a homing capability. The intentional miss by the player ensures that the arrows circle around their target.
The DLC for Breath of the Wild introduced a new mode known as Master Mode, which included a more challenging version of the Lynel called the Gold-Maned Lynel. While there are no current plans to add Master Mode to Tears of the Kingdom, it would be thrilling to witness Galacticalized attempt this feat against a Gold Lynel if Nintendo decides to incorporate this mode into the game.
You can play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on the Nintendo Switch.
