Poseidon Nero and the Oceans 6
: The intervention of Poseidon Nero, the ruler of the Aoi Cosmos, serves as a deterrent against Ziggy's disruptive intentions within his vast empire. Commanding the entirety of the cosmos, Poseidon Nero stands as an immensely influential and god-like figure, ensuring that his countermeasures against Ziggy will yield significant outcomes. Nevertheless, the unorthodox nature of his strategy may inadvertently lead to further loss and devastation.
Poseidon Nero, the supreme ruler of the Aoi Cosmos, exercises complete control over all the planets in the cosmos, with his headquarters situated in Planet Nero 1, famously known as the Temple. Operating from this celestial body, Nero issues his directives to his subordinates, who carry out his every whim. Introduced earlier in the series, Nero's Beast Squad, a squadron of soldiers occupying the lowest rung of the hierarchy, made its debut during the battle of Foresta.
Nero holds the highest position within Nero's power structure, known as the Oceans 6. This group consists of six incredibly powerful beings who reside within the Aoi Cosmos. Their main objective is to devoutly and obediently serve Nero, placing their trust in his beliefs. Unlike antagonistic individuals, the Oceans 6 aim to maintain peace within the Aoi Cosmos and ensure the safety of every planet.
Interestingly, it has been revealed that Nero and Ziggy were once friends. This suggests that Poseidon Nero is not necessarily an antagonistic figure. Similarly, Elsie Crimson, a member of the Oracion Seis Galactica, aligns herself with Edens Zero despite her association. However, as events unfold, these alliances may shift, potentially leading to a conflict between Nero and the crew of Edens Zero.
Nero’s Plan of Action
Nero's past relationship with Ziggy led him to consider leniency and reasoning for Ziggy's inhumane actions. However, the events on Foresta have compelled Nero to take strong measures against Ziggy, particularly due to the potential threat of similar attacks on other planets. Nero relies on his "Sacred Guiding Dice," a power that determines his actions based on its rolled numbers, to discern the appropriate course of action.
In dealing with Ziggy, Nero's reliance on the Sacred Guiding Dice remains unchanged. Surprisingly, all three dice roll on one, leading Nero to step aside and hand over control to his adopted son, Shura. Though his behavior may appear peculiar and unconventional, Nero explains that the outcomes of his dice rolls have enabled him to conquer the Aoi Cosmos in just one generation, demonstrating the true power of his Ether Gear.
The Heir to the Throne
Poseidon Nero, the supreme ruler of a vast kingdom, will soon have to pass on his crown to his heir. Unfortunately, his deranged and cruel son, who horrifies many in the Aoi Cosmos, is next in line to take over. Shura, Nero's adoptive son, was chosen through the guidance of the Sacred Guiding Dice, suggesting that fate has brought them together.
Shura plays a significant role in the series as he is one of Ziggy's students. Although he only briefly trained under the Demon King in Gravity Ether Gear, he has developed immense skill and power in this area on his own. His mastery over Gravity Ether Gear showcases his advanced abilities, making him a formidable opponent for Shiki and the others to confront in due time.
Despite being Nero's son, Shura lacks any resemblance to his father in terms of characteristics and beliefs. Upon assuming control of the Oceans 6, his initial action was to brutally eliminate Revenant Cyca, an android member of the group. Shura's evident psychopathic tendencies and complete absence of compassion indicate that his sole objective is to spread chaos and destruction across the Aoi Cosmos. Given his antagonistic disposition, it is highly probable that a confrontation between Shiki and Shura will arise, determining not only the superior Gravity Ether Gear user but also the rightful successor to Ziggy.
