After the Skull Fairy arc in Season 1 of Edens Zero, Elsie Crimson faded into the background and had no significant involvement in any developments. The term 'Aoi' translates to 'fish' in Japanese, and the cosmos aptly embodies this concept with its oceanic theme in outer space. Operating on unique principles of physics, the Aoi Cosmos features deep-sea-like environments within the vastness of space, where various types of fish gracefully float throughout the cosmos.

While each planet in the Sakura Cosmos has its own political system, the Aoi Cosmos is governed by a single ruler, Poseidon Nero, whom every planet must submit to. Not much is known about this enigmatic figure, although it has been revealed in the series that he has connections with the Oracion Seis Galactica. Given his dominion over an entire cosmos, it is expected that his power surpasses that of Drakken Joe by eons.
