The Ultimate Destiny 2 Loot Guide: Unveiling the Vox Obscura Rewards!

With the introduction of the weekly rotator mission in Destiny 2, players can now obtain weapons and armor from previous seasons. However, due to the time-gated nature of this feature, Guardians must plan their weeks accordingly to acquire desired gear.

In Destiny 2 Season 16, completing the Vox Obscura mission rewards players with a craftable version of the Dead Messenger Exotic Grenade Launcher, along with other Cabal-themed items from Season of the Risen. These include top-tier Rapid-Fire Frame Pulse Rifles and Assault Rifles. Below is the complete loot table for this rotating exotic mission.

Destiny 2: Vox Obscura Loot Drops

Upon completing Vox Obscura for the first time, players will be rewarded with a Deepsight Dead Messenger. This valuable item can be immediately activated, granting access to craft the weapon at the Enclave. Subsequent completions of the mission on Normal or Legend difficulty will unlock Intrinsic upgrades that can be utilized in the crafting screen. For those who seek an even greater challenge, achieving completions on Legend difficulty will also unlock Catalyst upgrades. It is important to note that this unlocking system applies to all craftable exotics found in the mission rotator.

The Dead Messenger is a powerful Exotic Wave-Frame GL that unleashes projectiles capable of generating three energy waves in a distinct fork pattern. Additionally, it boasts the unique Fundamentals Intrinsic Trait, allowing players to seamlessly switch the elemental damage type of the Dead Messenger between Solar, Arc, and Void. To further augment its capabilities, the weapon's catalyst introduces the Turnabout perk, which bestows an Overshield upon the user whenever they shatter a shield that matches their current elemental choice or break through a Guardian's shield.

Legendary gear from their respective seasons is dropped by exotic missions on the rotator. The gear consists of Cabal-themed guns and armor, which includes Deepsight variants of the weapons. Sweet Sorrow, Piece of Mind, Under Your Skin, and Explosive Personality are all highly sought-after firearms. Additionally, players have the opportunity to obtain armor pieces from Season of the Risen.

Every week, players receive a Deepsight weapon for a gun they haven't unlocked the crafting pattern for yet. Subsequent completions will yield more weapons, but guaranteed Deepsight borders are no longer guaranteed. Due to the rotator's weekly mission changes, players only have two opportunities to acquire guaranteed legendary Deepsight drops: once for completing the mission on Normal mode and once again for completing it on Legend.
