Gizelle Bryant is known for her outspoken and no-nonsense personality on The Real Housewives of Potomac, and she takes pride in it. "I've stayed true to myself, not taking things too seriously, and just having fun with it," Gizelle, 53, said in an exclusive interview with We as part of the "Housewives Happy Hour" series. "This season, I was able to get back to just having fun, and I really appreciated that."
In her eighth season on the reality series, Gizelle introduced a new tagline: “I may not be an angel, but show me some grace and you’ll grow to love me.” This catchphrase cleverly nods to her 19-year-old daughter, Grace, and 17-year-old twins, Angel and Adore, making it her personal favorite.
Gizelle shared with Us, “I've disliked all of my previous taglines that were given to me. ‘Word on the street’ was my own creation, and I stuck with it for so long because I thought everything else they gave me was terrible.”
Gizelle was taken aback by her latest intro. "When they read that tagline to me, I was completely amazed. I thought, 'This is incredible,'" she exclaimed. "I think I'm going to hold onto it forever."

Her daughters did not share her excitement when she told them about it. "They weren't even excited," Gizelle said. "They were like, 'Will people recognize those as our names?' and I was like, 'I think so, definitely.'"
Gizelle has been involved in her fair share of drama this season alongside fellow Housewives Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Wendy Osefo, Mia Thronton and Nneka Ihim. While her newfound romance with fellow Bravolebrity Jason Cameron has been a main focus of the season, Gizelle shared some of the most memorable moments from past RHOP seasons with Us, including the shadiest thing done to her by a costar.
After bringing my boyfriend's ex-wife onto the show, Karen Huger is the source of my frustration. I've thrown shade her way as well, and I consider it a form of moving on. The hashtag-covered T-shirt I wore, making light of Karen's personal issues, is a perfect example of this.

Despite the constant drama on the Housewives, Gizelle also appreciates the heartfelt moments on the reality series. One such moment was a trip to New Orleans in season 4 with her late father, Curtis Graves, who passed away in July at the age of 84.
Reflecting on her father's presence on the show, Gizelle fondly remembers his excitement about being recognized in the airport. "He would always say he would love to get stopped in the airport. He’d be like, ‘Gizelle, I was stopped at the airport. I think people are watching your show,’” she shared with Us. "I’m like, ‘Yeah, Dad, welcome to the party.’”
