Gizelle Bryant Opens Up About Chris Bassett Affair Speculations: Candiace Dillard's Missed Opportunity”

Gizelle Bryant, star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, expressed her views on the rumors about Candiace Dillard Bassett's husband, Chris Bassett. She believes that there might be some truth to the gossip. "It's unfortunate, but I already warned Candiace about her husband last season," said Gizelle, 53, in an exclusive interview with We prior to the premiere of season 8 of RHOP. "She chose not to listen, so perhaps she should have."
Earlier this month, a woman stepped forward, asserting that she is the mistress of Chris. According to her, Chris, who is 45 years old, allegedly urged her to have an abortion not long ago. (Chris has been married to Candiace, who is 36 years old, since 2018.)
"I found her account to be quite credible," Gizelle shared with Us. She also mentioned that she hasn't had any communication with Candiace since news of the alleged affair became public. "Honestly, it's not my concern, and I don't really care. Nonetheless, it is regrettable."

Both Chris and Candiace have yet to publicly address the woman's allegations. However, Candiace pointed fingers at her co-stars, Gizelle and Robyn Dixon, insinuating their involvement in the rumors. She expressed her frustration on Twitter, urging them to focus on their own personal issues such as their boyfriends for hire and unfaithful spouses. Candiace emphasized that these repeated incidents were wearing out the patience of religious individuals.
Gizelle expressed confusion regarding Candiace's belief that she is accountable for spreading rumors about Chris. "It seemed so odd to me," Gizelle remarked. "However, deflecting blame is a common occurrence."
During the seventh season of RHOP, doubts about Chris' loyalty were raised, concluding in March. Gizelle asserted that she possessed damaging information about Chris, but he was ultimately proven innocent.
Gizelle and Candiace have had limited contact since then, even during the filming of RHOP season 8. "I didn't see her much this season, and I have to say, it was a positive experience for me," Gizelle shared with Us. "It was truly awesome."
Gizelle clarified that she wasn't actively trying to "avoid" her castmate, but rather, their lack of interaction happened organically. "Certain events and situations arose where I didn't feel the need to invite her, and vice versa," she elaborated. "So, naturally, I didn't feel the need to see her."
Regarding her romantic relationship with Winter House star Jason Cameron, Gizelle has no interest in defining it. She stated, "Everyone wants a label, but I don't feel the need for that. I am simply enjoying the time we have and the moments we spend together. We have so much fun when we're together, and I'm content with what we have."
Gizelle and Jason, aged 37, were initially linked in January. She further mentioned, "We are not putting any pressure on ourselves, and we refuse to let others pressure us either. We support each other and he truly sees me for who I am, which I greatly appreciate."
