RHOP Star Karen Huger: Ray Paying for a Woman's Hotel Room like Juan Dixon Would Lead to Divorce
RHOP's Karen Huger warns that if her husband, Ray, ever paid for another woman's hotel room like Juan Dixon did, their marriage could be in serious jeopardy
Karen Huger, star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, has been married to Ray Huger for 27 years. However, she has made it clear that she will not hesitate to end their marriage if he behaves like Juan Dixon. In a recent interview with We, the 60-year-old Huger expressed her disapproval of the viral story shared by Dixon, the former professional basketball player, regarding paying for another woman's hotel room.
"If Juan cheated, I would have divorced him. It would have been the end of our marriage," Huger expressed during BravoCon. "It would have truly devastated me, Ray."
Juan and Robyn tied the knot in 2005 and welcomed two sons, Corey (15) and Carter (13). However, their relationship ended in divorce in 2012 due to accusations of Juan's infidelity. Fortunately, they reconciled and remarried in August 2022.
Earlier this year, an unidentified woman alleged that she had a romantic relationship with Juan towards the conclusion of the pandemic and traveled from Canada to meet him in town. She possesses a hotel receipt with Juan's signature as evidence of his payment for her accommodation. Juan has continuously asserted that he acted as a Good Samaritan by graciously covering the cost of her room after she misplaced her wallet. Robyn, in turn, came to Juan's defense and upheld his account, affirming that he was merely assisting the woman out of goodwill.
Karen confronted Robyn during their conversation about Robyn's failure to disclose Juan's hotel story and his alleged infidelity during season 7.
"How could she possibly believe that she could deceive the entire group while only sharing it with a select few, without exposing it to the rest of the world?" Karen expressed. "The viewers have every right to know this information."
Karen was further incensed by Robyn's statement on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where she claimed it was her duty to expose the scandal. Karen expressed her frustration, stating, "I expected Karen to be the one to reveal it!"
"It was not her place to do so. She criticizes me incessantly, yet she relies on me," Karen continued to Us. "She should have approached me privately. I would have supported her. I would have stood by her if she had been honest, but she chose to lie. I still hold onto that sentiment today, and you will witness that. However, I do genuinely hope for her well-being."

In addition to Juan's drama, there are speculations surrounding a potential cheating scandal involving Chris Bassett and his wife, Candiace Dillard Bassett, although both have vehemently denied these rumors. Karen holds optimistic aspirations for their relationship, hoping that they can remain united.
Karen expressed her support for the couple, emphasizing her belief in their relationship. She wanted them to take charge of their own narrative and wished them the best. Despite the ongoing challenges faced by the Dixons and the Bassetts, Karen felt fortunate to declare her own successful 27-year marriage to Ray.
"We never try to portray ourselves as anyone else but who we truly are; close friends are what we genuinely value," she expressed. "I cherish the bond I share with my best friend."
Karen maintains a surprisingly cordial relationship even with her frenemy, Gizelle Bryant.
"We went out and had a fantastic time," she stated. "It was an incredible girls' night out, our first in five years. I'm savoring the moment because it's common knowledge that Gizelle and I are the ultimate frenemies within the Bravo community."
