RHOP's Karen Huger Demands Robyn Dixon to End 'Deception' Surrounding Juan Dixon Controversy
Karen Huger voices her opinion on the ongoing drama surrounding Robyn and Juan Dixon, her fellow cast members on 'The Real Housewives of Potomac', expressing her lack of support until Robyn stops what she perceives as dishonesty
Karen Huger has some harsh advice for her friend and Real Housewives of the Potomac costar Robyn Dixon.
"Robyn and I have the most difficult relationship in the core group," Karen, 60, exclusively told We while promoting season 8 of RHOP. "I want her to succeed, but she needs to stop lying. If she can't stop lying, then I want Robyn to acknowledge that we don't believe her lies."
44-year-old Robyn has experienced a series of challenges this year, including allegations of infidelity against her 45-year-old husband, Juan Dixon. A woman who chose to remain unidentified claimed that she had dated Juan and that he had paid for a hotel room for her to visit him. Juan admitted to renting the room for the woman, but insisted that he did so because she had lost her wallet. Robyn, on her part, supported her husband's version of events.
Although Karen wants to offer her support to her friend, she admitted to Us that she cannot do so until Robyn "faces the truth."
She advised us to take ownership and stop making a fuss about it. "Challenges arise in every marriage. I've been married for 27 years. It's not simple, but she must handle it maturely, especially as a part of our inner circle." At BravoCon, the RHOP cast witnessed Robyn getting booed by the audience for her approach to the issue with her spouse. Karen, having conflicting opinions about her colleague, believed the audience's response was excessive.

"I didn't appreciate the negative reaction towards Robyn. I don't believe she deserves that," she expressed. "While I do feel that Robyn needs to be held accountable, I think she lied and needs to stop lying...I'm a grown woman. I'm in my forties now, so I would have handled it differently. I would have said, 'Stay out of my personal life. You may not agree with my decisions, but this is how things are in my home and in my relationship.' Instead of giving us some nonsensical excuse when the evidence is clear."
Throughout season 8 of RHOP, Karen and Robyn have been in conflict over allegations of Juan's infidelity. In a January episode, Karen alleged that she saw Juan holding hands with another woman, a claim he denied to Robyn. After the episode, Robyn spoke to Us about her friendship with Karen and her feelings about Karen's involvement in her marriage.
“Karen and I have a complex relationship, it's kind of like a love-hate dynamic. We may exchange harsh words, but speaking for myself, I try to move forward without dwelling on it,” Robyn exclusively told Us in February. “We have a love-hate dynamic where we can be at odds one moment and then move past it. We have a mutual respect and appreciation for each other, especially considering the long history we share and the nature of our work together.”
