Honkai: Star Rail - Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 3Recommended Path and Blessings
In the Simulated Universe of Honkai: Star Rail, players can expect a unique and exciting experience with challenges that are unlike anything else in the game. As players progress and become more powerful, they will unlock harder difficulties in this game mode, providing even greater rewards for those willing to take on the challenge.
During the early days of Honkai: Star Rail, World 3 of the Simulated Universe gained a notorious reputation. The final boss battle against Gepard proved to be quite difficult for many players, and this challenge remains unchanged even in the third difficulty setting for the level. To help players overcome this challenge with ease, here are some recommended strategies for conquering World 3 Difficulty 3.
Honkai: Star Rail - Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 3
In Difficulty 3, players can expect the same final boss, Gepard, with all of his previous tricks. The only notable change is that the enemies' increased power levels make everything more dangerous. While there is a fair balance of elemental resistances among the enemies, a combination of Physical and Lightning characters will likely yield the most success. Serval remains the top choice for DPS, although players who have Jing Yuan might find him to be a better option. Additionally, Physical Trailblazer and Clara are highly effective against the toughest enemies in World 3.
Good teams for World 3 Difficulty 3 would look like the following:
Physical team: Sushang, Bronya, March 7th, Natasha
Sushang and Natasha can synergize their damage output to efficiently exploit Physical Weaknesses. Additionally, Bronya will fulfill the role of enhancing damage and replenishing the team's SP.
Jing Yuan and Tingyun complement each other perfectly. Tingyun not only enhances Jing Yuan's offensive capabilities but also provides the much-needed Energy for Jing Yuan's Ultimate ability. Furthermore, equipping the Planetary Rendezvous Light Cone on Tingyun can further amplify Jing Yuan's damage. It is important to note that this composition heavily relies on the Lightning Lord to overpower enemies that are not vulnerable to lightning.
In this setup, March 7th is the ideal tank due to her ability to Freeze enemies. The Silvermane Lieutenants encountered during Gepard's final phase pose a significant threat, and finding a way to minimize their damage is crucial.
Bailu is a big help when it comes to sustaining through AOE damage thanks to her Talent. Natasha can do the same, albeit not as effectively.
Recommended Path and Blessings
For the Physical team, players should prioritize stacking Hunt and Preservation bonuses. Sushang greatly benefits from Blessings that grant her buffs at the beginning of each turn, making the Path of the Hunt a clear and optimal selection. The key Blessings that players should seek are:
Celestial Annihilation
Imperial Reign
Flowing Mist
Ejecting the Borisin
Keep an eye out for these auspicious blessings while playing as a member of the Jing Yuan Lightning team. Having as many Elation buffs as possible is crucial for their success. With sufficient Follow-Up DMG bonuses, Lightning Lord can even take down Lightning-resistant targets.
Auto-Harmonica: Whitest Night
Champion's Dinner: Cat's Cradle
Just Keep on Crying!
Portrait of a Man On Fire
Painted Albatross
Mostly Harmful
Suspiria
Exemplary Conduct
Players should aim to obtain the Ultimate Experience: Shudder Blessing from the Path of Remembrance on March 7th as it will serve as the main tank. This blessing grants the ability to inflict Ice Weakness on enemies, allowing March to deal Toughness damage while also reducing their Freeze resistance.
Additionally, it is advisable to acquire Blessings that provide passive healing or shields. Given that battles against the boss and elites may involve attrition, being well-prepared is crucial. Interstellar Construct: Quadrangular Pyramid and Clear Lucite Body are excellent examples of defensive buffs that offer these benefits.
The strategy for battling Gepard remains consistent with the previous difficulty levels. Prioritize eliminating his minions before he activates his Garrison shield, and use Ultimates to deal significant damage whenever he does. Upgrading both Elation and Hunt with Path Resonance enhancements proves highly effective in breaking his shield.
Honkai: Star Rail can now be played on Android, iOS, and PC, and a PlayStation version is currently being developed.
