Madison LeCroy Grills Austen Kroll on Taylor Ann Green: A Closer Look

Madison LeCroy is ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll’s unexpected ally in the upcoming episode of Southern Charm — and she’s rooting for him to find love.

Madison, 33, confronts Austen, 36, during a heart-to-heart on the beach in Jamaica in a sneak peek of We's November 30 episode. "I've observed you, your face, and your demeanor. I feel like you love Taylor [Ann Green], don't you?" Austen, surprised by Madison's comment, admits he wasn't anticipating her question but doesn't deny his feelings for co-star Taylor, 28, as the two share a laugh.

Madison encourages Taylor not to let other people hold her back and emphasizes that Shep Rose, Taylor’s ex-boyfriend, should not influence her decision as he is "the most selfish person in the entire world".

Madison LeCroy, Austen Kroll, and Taylor Ann Green are featured in a segment on Bravo (3), where Madison expresses her belief that Austen has a good heart at his core, which may be why he is not pursuing a relationship with Taylor. She mentions that she understands Austen's reluctance to hurt others, but also wonders what will make him happy. Austen remains silent and puts his hand over his head in response.

Madison's conversation with Austen occurs in the wake of the controversy caused by he and Taylor's disclosure of a kiss they shared towards the end of 2022. At the time, Austen was still in communication with Olivia, 31, following their breakup in October of that year. Meanwhile, Taylor had separated from Shep in July 2022.

The timing of the kiss has been a contentious issue throughout season 9 and has caused a strain in the relationship between former best friends Olivia and Taylor. "I'm not communicating with Taylor," Olivia exclusively told Us earlier this month while at BravoCon.

Madison and Austen dated sporadically for two years before ending their relationship in December 2020. Afterward, Madison found love with Brett Randle, who she married in November 2022. This season, Brett made his debut on Southern Charm and has been shown co-parenting Madison's son, Hudson, whom she had with her first husband, Josh Hughes.

Madison has been open about her support for Austen finding love and has expressed her opinions on who would be a good match for him.

In October 2022, Madison revealed to Us that upon encountering Austen’s Winter House romantic interest, Ciara Miller, she considered the possibility of Austen “revisiting that.” She remarked that Ciara, 27, could possibly be “too intelligent” to rekindle things with Austen.

Madison disclosed to Us in September that, while acknowledging Austen and Taylor's tumultuous hookup, she believes "they would be well-suited for each other." Despite this, Taylor recently confirmed exclusively to Us that she is currently in a relationship with a man named Gaston.
