Austen Drops a Bombshell About Taylor in ‘Southern Charm’ Season 9 Trailer – She Fires Back!

The alleged hookup between Austen Kroll and Taylor Ann Green becomes the focal point of attention in the exciting new trailer for season 9 of Southern Charm. However, the question remains: who is telling the truth? In the recently released first look at the Bravo series on Thursday, August 2, Austen, aged 36, confidently asserts, "Something happened with me and Taylor."

During the continuation of the trailer, Austen's former girlfriend Madison LeCroy confronts him with the question, "Did you engage in a sexual relationship with Taylor or not?" Annoyed, Austen simply responds with Madison's name.

Olivia Flowers, another one of Austen's ex-girlfriends whom he had an on-again, off-again relationship with during season 8 before their split in fall 2022, expresses her curiosity about the circulating rumors. In the clip, Olivia, aged 31, asks Taylor, aged 28, if they ever had a romantic encounter.

Taylor vehemently denies ever swearing on her life, but her statement only piques the curiosity of both the cast and devoted Southern Charm fans. Additionally, Olivia takes aim at Austen and Taylor, proclaiming that their penchant for deception is beyond belief. Austen also faces backlash from Olivia's new partner, who is willing to go to great lengths to defend their love.

In addition to the rumored hookup between Taylor and Austen, this season will also showcase another relationship drama. Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo seem to have different visions for their future, with only one of them being ready for marriage.

As for Taylor, it appears that she gets involved with her ex-boyfriend Shep Rose while filming, and their friends are all aware of it. (Both Taylor and Olivia are currently single after going through breakups in 2022, and their new romantic interests will also make appearances this season.)

"Taylor's in Shep's room," Olivia announces in the promo, while Austen informs someone over the phone that "Shep and Taylor hooked up." Later on, Shep, aged 43, jokingly refers to Taylor as a "kissing bandit" as they are shown lying in bed together.

In July 2022, we verified that Shep and Taylor ended their two-year relationship. During the season 8 reunion in October 2022, Taylor confronted Shep and accused him of cheating on her with several women.

After the season 8 reunion, Austen revealed exclusively to Us that although he has a close relationship with Taylor, he would never engage in a romantic relationship with her out of respect for his friendship with Shep.

Austen and Taylor were rumored to have started a relationship five months later, which the cast of the Bravo series discovered during season 9. Madison, who is 32 years old, hinted in an interview with Life & Style in March that they discuss this topic extensively during the new season, and everyone is still trying to uncover the truth. Although Madison does not want to get too involved in their relationship, she still has an opinion and they are all being cautious about the situation.
