Southern Charm's Taylor Ann Green recently announced that she and Olivia Flowers have decided to temporarily set aside their ongoing drama. Both individuals have experienced the loss of a sibling in recent months, which has led them to put their disagreements on hold. During an exclusive interview on Wednesday, October 11, Green, 28, spoke about the upcoming season 9 of Southern Charm and the possibility of addressing their issues at the reunion. However, for now, their focus is on supporting each other as friends, which Green deems as a crucial aspect of their relationship.
Acknowledging that being part of a club where losing a sibling is an unfortunate reality, Green expressed the ongoing significance of her friendship with Flowers, who is 31 years old.
In June, Green experienced the heartbreaking loss of her older brother, Richard Worthington (also known as Worth), at the age of 36. Similarly, Flowers faced the devastating loss of her brother, Connor, who was 32 years old, in January.
"We're doing okay," Taylor said when asked about how her family was coping with the loss. "It still feels surreal at times, but there are moments when you're driving and suddenly burst into tears for about 30 seconds, and then you gather yourself and realize, 'Okay, I'm alright. I'm fine.' There's no right or wrong way to process this, but we're working through it."
On top of dealing with the deaths of their brothers, Green and Flowers also found themselves entangled in relationship drama with co-star Austen Kroll. During the season 8 reunion of the Bravo series in October 2022, Flowers disclosed that she and Kroll, aged 36, had ended their relationship after a few months of dating. Earlier this year, rumors began circulating that Kroll and Green allegedly had a casual encounter before shooting season 9, and shortly after their respective breakups in 2022.

The repercussions of the rumors have started unfolding during the show's latest episodes. Green, who previously had a two-year relationship with costar Shep Rose before breaking up in July 2022, confessed to Flowers that she and Kroll had talked about the potential of dating while he was still attempting to resolve things with Flowers.
"Olivia's need to process things is what drove me to meet up with her that morning and give her space to process," Green shared with Us. "I wanted to ensure that she didn't walk into the room feeling completely caught off guard and confused about what was happening with everyone around her. However, it's impossible to control everything when cameras are present."
In a sneak peek of the Thursday, October 12 episode, Kroll admitted to Rose that he and Green had kissed, but reassured him that it didn't go any further.
As fans eagerly await the unfolding of the drama, Green remains optimistic that the issues will be resolved and normalcy will be restored. Shep's attitude of unity and happiness is something Green admires, acknowledging that life is too short to hold grudges. Instead, forgiveness and moving forward should be the focus. Green emphasizes that there is no reason to harbor hatred towards anyone, as she personally does not possess any animosity. Catch Southern Charms on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
