Olivia Flowers has found a new love that even her ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll approves of, describing it as "sweeter than a honeybee". She revealed to Nick Viall on the November 30 episode of his “Viall Files” podcast that she met her new love, Alex from Dallas, at a wedding where she was attending as her dad's date. Alex, who was running late, offered to walk her down the aisle, leading to the start of their romance.
When Alex and Flowers met, he was unaware of the shows Southern Charm and had never heard of it. She humorously mentioned that it was enjoyable to introduce him to the show. Viall then inquired about Kroll's opinion on the new couple. Kroll responded by saying that their meeting went well because Alex tends to become especially friendly when under the influence. She jokingly advised Alex to be cordial but not to feel obligated to become best friends with the person they met.
Flowers was surprised to see Alex and Kroll, 36, return from their golf outing together in the same cart, laughing. "There were like four golf carts, and they were in one together, and I was like, 'Goddammit,'" she joked.
Flowers also confirmed that there was no awkwardness between Alex and Kroll, despite their split in 2022 after a year together. She mentioned that they recently went on a group trip together.

"Austen and I share mutual friends who have a stunning place in the Bahamas which we both acquired in our respective divorces. We were both invited on a group trip and decided to go despite our past differences," Flowers revealed. She mentioned that she brought along Alex while Kroll invited his new girlfriend, and they were able to put aside any issues they had. This trip occurred two weeks ago following a heated argument the ex-couple had after a BravoCon cast panel. When Kroll was asked about how he handled his hookup with Shep Rose’s ex Taylor Ann Green, Flowers interrupted him, leading to a negative reaction from the crowd."

After leaving the stage, as I walked by, I saw him glaring at me and saying, 'F—k you, Olivia. F—k you,' he was so angry," she remembered. "He often finds himself in these situations where people react and express their opinions, but he always needs someone to blame. He holds me responsible for initiating a conversation that led others to boo him."
Olivia added, "We ended up yelling at each other and then four days later, we went to the Bahamas."
