Olivia, 31, shared on the Thursday, October 19, episode of the Bravo series that one of the last things her brother Connor said to her was, "You're doing everything right. You're exactly where you're supposed to be." She recalled him also expressing, "I hope you can look at me and be proud of me, like I'm proud of you."
On the same episode, which was filmed in January, Olivia's cast mates discovered that her older brother Connor had passed away at the age of 32 that month. (The Flowers family confirmed Connor's death in January, but the cause of his death has not been disclosed.)
Olivia Flowers shared a photo on Instagram, showcasing the kindness she received from Craig Conover who prepared a gluten-free lasagna for her. Additionally, Shep Rose graciously opened up his home to Olivia's family, allowing them to grieve together. Notably, Shep and Olivia are neighbors.Meanwhile, the girls extended an invitation to Olivia, urging her to join them at Venita Aspen's residence to provide solace and solidarity. Reflecting on her grieving journey, Olivia confessed, "I haven't been able to enter his room, whereas my mother prefers to remain there." She continued, "We are all experiencing this loss differently, each on separate pages."
As Olivia reminisced about Connor's untimely departure, tears streamed down her face. With a heavy heart, she expressed, "He possessed such thoughtfulness, sweetness, and kindness. I can only hope he understood the depth of our love for him." Addressing Venita, 30, and Leva Bonaparte, she earnestly pleaded, "I just wish he knew."
During the gathering, Olivia and Taylor Ann Green set aside their recent conflicts and embraced each other. Throughout the season, Taylor, 29, and Olivia had been at odds after Taylor deceived Olivia about kissing her ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll while Olivia, 36, and Austen were trying to sort out their relationship.
Despite being there for Olivia in her time of need, she later expressed to the cameras that she still has unanswered "questions" for her former best friend. "I'm still deeply hurt. However, in difficult times like this, you don't really think about who you want by your side. You simply appreciate those who are there," Olivia confessed. "Ultimately, I value our friendship and want to move forward."
Olivia informed her friends that Austen, whom she had previously yelled at for kissing Taylor without her knowledge, had also been a source of support for her after Connor's passing.
"Everyone really came through in a meaningful way. Austen's support has been comforting. It's difficult to hold a grudge against someone who has gone through a similar experience," she shared, referring to Austen's own loss of his older sister, Kyle, during his childhood. "It's unfortunate that we share this connection, but it's a shared understanding nonetheless."
Earlier this month, Taylor provided an exclusive update on her friendship with Olivia. She confirmed that although their relationship is not perfect, they have found solace in each other after the tragic losses of their respective brothers in 2023. (Taylor's brother, Richard "Worth" Worthington Green, passed away in June at the age of 36.)
"With all that has happened in recent months, both of us experiencing the loss of a sibling, we have decided to temporarily set aside any disagreements," Taylor shared on October 11. "I know we will have to address these issues at a future meeting or reunion, but for now, we have been able to prioritize our friendship and support one another, and that means the world to me."
Southern Charm airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
