In the upcoming episode of Southern Charm, Taylor Ann Green leaves Olivia Flowers speechless when she brings up Olivia’s late brother, Conner Flowers. In a preview from the December 21 episode of the Bravo show, 28-year-old Taylor awkwardly discusses Olivia's brother, who passed away in January at the age of 32.
“I had a moment, [saying], ‘Who do I go to? My confidant, my brother,’” Taylor says in the clip released on Tuesday, December 19, while trying to explain why she and Austen Kroll talked to their families about their brief fling. “I love and adore him, as I know that you love and adored your brother.”
Pal Venita Aspen reacts with surprise when Taylor mentions Conner, saying "Don't do that." Olivia, 31, appears shocked when Taylor brings up her late sibling while defending her and Austen's secret hookup. This incident occurred after Taylor and Austen made headlines in early 2023 for kissing in late 2022 following their breakups with Shep Rose and Olivia.
“I don’t believe she was aware of what she was saying. It seemed like she was just speaking out of emotion,” asserts castmate Jarrett “JT” Thomas in his confessional interview, but Olivia doesn’t seem convinced that it was simply a slip of the tongue.

Olivia confesses that she used to believe Taylor didn't mean what she said, but now feels she has crossed a line. She doesn't see Taylor being able to recover from her actions. Meanwhile, Taylor reaffirms her claims about her hookup with Austen, insisting that it is the first time she has broken Olivia's trust.
In front of their friends, Taylor begins to have a meltdown as they admit that Olivia's statement of "hating her" has been difficult to deal with. "You're accusing me of lying. You'll never trust me and you hate me," Taylor expresses, to which Olivia responds, "All of that is true."
Tears begin to flow as Taylor tells Olivia, "Using the word hate is really intense." Olivia retorts, "Exactly, that's why I said it."
After Taylor accuses Olivia of "verbal abuse," she angrily leaves. Meanwhile, Olivia jokes and criticizes Austen, suggesting that he should "resolve it" by having sex with Taylor in the elevator.
The ongoing conflict between Taylor and Olivia has been a major focus of Southern Charm's ninth season. Olivia previously expressed feeling betrayed by her former best friend for kissing Austen without her knowledge. While Shep, 43, forgave Austen for his actions, Olivia remains hesitant and skeptical of Taylor's version of events.

During the filming of season 9 in January, Olivia received the devastating news of her brother, Conner's passing from an accidental fentanyl overdose. She later disclosed that Conner had been using the drug as a means of coping with his chronic Lyme disease.
After the sudden loss of her brother, Richard “Worth” Worthington, in June at the age of 36, Taylor revealed that she and Olivia were making an effort to set aside their differences and support each other. "With everything that’s happened recently, both of us experiencing the loss of a sibling, we've put our issues on hold for now," Taylor expressed in October. "I know we'll have to address it at the reunion or whenever, but we've managed to set everything aside and be there for each other as friends, and that means a lot to me."
