Southern Charm star Olivia Flowers clarified her involvement with Tom Sandoval during BravoCon, asserting herself as a devoted supporter of Ariana Madix. On November 4, observant fans noticed Olivia, 31, and Sandoval, 41, seemingly spending time together. However, the truth differs from what was observed.
"We coincidentally left Paige DeSorbo's birthday party at the same time. As we were walking through the casino, I overheard someone say, 'It's Olivia and Sandoval,' and I was taken aback. Contrary to popular belief, we are not a couple. We simply happened to leave the party simultaneously. I'm actually a huge fan of Ariana and the entire Vanderpump Rules cast. That's all there is to it," Olivia revealed during the Southern Charm BravoCon panel on Sunday, November 5. In a lighthearted manner, Olivia quipped that she had anticipated questions about her encounter with the Vanderpump Rules star."
This isn't the first instance Olivia and Sandoval have come across each other. In November 2022, Olivia returned to her former hangout spot in Los Angeles and caught up with a few VPR celebrities at Schwartz & Sandy's.

“This spot was a whole mood,” Olivia captioned a photo at the time, posing with Sandoval, Scheana Shay, Raquel Leviss and Tom Schwartz.
Sandoval and Raquel, both 29, were seated side by side in the photo, suggesting a forewarning of the impending drama.
In March, we announced the breakup of Sandoval and Ariana's nine-year relationship, following the revelation of TomTom co-owner's months-long involvement with Raquel. The consequences of this affair were depicted during season 10 of Vanderpump Rules.
Following the Scandoval incident, as fans have coined it, both Ariana and Sandoval have resumed filming for VPR season 11, scheduled to debut in January 2024. Meanwhile, Raquel has decided to take a break from the show. (According to a source, Raquel and Sandoval have not been in communication for the past three months.)
During BravoCon over the weekend, Sandoval bravely confronted the backlash from fans regarding Scandoval, as he was repeatedly booed during the VPR cast panel.
"It provides a small taste of reality, so to speak," Sandoval exclusively told us on Friday, November 3, after the panel. "It helps keep you grounded. I don't know."
Sandoval further revealed to us that he had a period where he was uncertain about his return to Pump Rules after the incidents in season 10. However, he ultimately chose to come back.
“I think, as time went on, when I get to times where I find life really hard to deal with, I think it’s good to challenge yourself,” he shared. “Do what’s hard, you know what I mean?”
