Amid his ongoing divorce from Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Kroy Biermann is taking a personal break and encourages his fans to do the same. Recently, the 37-year-old former NFL player shared with his Instagram followers that he has been reading a book that recommends praising oneself based on specific character traits. The book also provided six evaluation questions to assist him in assessing his progress in his journey of self-improvement, which Biermann shared in subsequent slides.

One query asked, "When have you demonstrated loyalty to someone or a cause greater than yourself?" Another questioned, "When have you exhibited patience during difficult times, focused determination in completing a task, and composure under pressure?" Biermann shared these questions in a video, hoping to aid others in their personal growth and self-reflection. In his caption, he expressed gratitude for the support and positivity, acknowledging that he reads all comments and appreciates them greatly. He ended by sending love to everyone.

We confirmed in May that the former athlete and Zolciak-Biermann, aged 45, both submitted legal documents to terminate their marriage after being together for over ten years. According to court documents obtained by Us, the couple specified April 30 as the date they separated.

Weeks later, Biermann filed court documents stating that the breakup was anything but amicable and was only getting worse. In his filing, Biermann requested the court to appoint a guardian ad litem to handle the custody battle for their four children: Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 10, and twins Kane and Kaia, 9. (Biermann had previously adopted Zolciak-Biermann’s two daughters, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, from her previous relationships.)

The appointed guardian, who could be either an attorney or a mental health professional, would be responsible for acting in the best interests of the children. Biermann claimed that his request was an effort to protect his kids from the negative consequences of their parents' divorce. Furthermore, he accused Zolciak-Biermann of using abusive, vulgar, and threatening language during conversations in front of their children.

Zolciak-Biermann's attorney, David Beaudry, issued a statement on her behalf, denying the accusations made by her estranged husband. She expressed concern over the negative impact that the media attention surrounding their divorce could have on their children in the future. The statement also emphasized that Kroy's repeated spreading of false information, in an effort to portray Kim as an unfit mother, is both damaging and misrepresentative of her dedication to raising her children.

The reality star has expressed concerns about the safety of her children in the presence of Biermann. In May, she filed a motion for her ex-partner to undergo drug testing, stating that she witnessed him "smoking marijuana" in front of their kids.

In response, Biermann countered by filing his own request for his estranged wife to undergo a psychological evaluation. He claimed that she has exhibited increasingly concerning behavior in the months leading up to his decision to file for divorce.

In the following month, Zolciak-Biermann successfully finished a parenting course focused on managing family transitions. As evidenced by the records obtained by Us, she submitted a certificate of completion to the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia by the conclusion of May.
