Kim Zolciak-Biermann's lawyer has responded to accusations made by her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, regarding her parenting skills. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum's lawyer expressed concern about the impact of Kroy's public statements on their children and condemned his attempts to portray Kim as an unfit mother for his own benefit. The lawyer emphasized that Kim is devoted to raising her children and that Kroy's allegations are both harmful and misleading.
Kim has remained silent throughout the divorce proceedings, prioritizing her children's well-being above all else. However, the latest filing has forced her to break her silence. Over the years, she has endured emotional and mental abuse from her estranged partner, which has not only affected her but also their children. Despite the heartbreak, Kim has always been an unwaveringly dedicated mother to her kids, with their happiness being her top priority.
After their messy split, Kim Zolciak accused her estranged husband of portraying her as someone she is not, despite having four children together - sons Kroy Jr. and Kash, as well as twins Kaia and Kane.
The statement ended on a hopeful note, expressing Kim's anticipation for the day when they can finally resolve these issues in court. The divorce between Zolciak-Biermann and the retired athlete has been a public affair. Both parties filed for divorce in May after being married for over a decade, and court documents revealed that they officially separated on April 30.
He filed for divorce and requested to have full legal and physical custody of their four children, including Brielle and Ariana, who he had previously adopted even before their wedding in 2011.
In response to the ongoing legal battle, Biermann asked for his estranged wife to undergo a psychological evaluation in later court documents. This request followed Zolciak-Biermann's motion for him to take a drug test, citing concerns for their children's safety while in his care.
The Superior Court of Fulton County received a motion from Biermann for the appointment of a Guardian ad Litem for their minor children earlier this month. The motion alleged that Zolciak-Biermann had used abusive and threatening language towards Biermann in front of their children, with little regard for their well-being. Other Bravo stars, including Shereé Whitfield, have commented on the unexpected split, with Whitfield suggesting that Zolciak-Biermann is going through personal struggles at the moment.
"I was surprised to learn about their separation and it saddened me deeply. I always believed that Kim and Kroy had a strong bond and would stay together. I have been in touch with Kim since the news broke and it is clear that she is struggling. She is going through a tough time and it's not easy for her."
