Harness the Power of Arc: Destiny 2 Unleashes Strand Abilities for Hunters

Destiny 2 players are exploiting a bug that allows them to use the Strand subclass abilities while having another subclass equipped This gives them an unfair advantage in battles and has caused frustration within the community Bungie, the game's developer, has yet to release a fix for the issue

Destiny 2's latest subclass, the Darkness subclass, offers players a range of new abilities, but a recent bug has allowed them to use certain Strand abilities while equipped with other subclasses. This is just one of the many glitches that have caused problems for weapons, abilities, and game modes since the release of Strand. Despite the bugs, Strand has introduced complex additions to the game, providing each class with versatile movement capabilities and combat abilities that encourage unique play styles. The latest expansion, Season of the Deep, has added even more Strand abilities, each offering a slightly different approach to wielding this powerful subclass.

One documented bug in Destiny 2 shows that not all of the game's aspects are functioning properly. In the clip captured and posted on Reddit by user Known-Dog-6899, an Arcstrider Hunter inadvertently spawns Strand Threadlings while dodging. Other players have also reported encountering similar issues. It's worth noting that the player in the clip wasn't using any gear or abilities that can take advantage of Strand, leading some members of the community to speculate that the bug is caused by the Warlock's Weaver's Call aspect applying not only to other subclasses, but to other Guardian classes entirely. While Weaver's Call is intended for Warlocks only, allowing them to spawn multiple Threadlings upon casting their Rift, quite a few members of the game's community claim to have seen this glitch applying to other classes as well. These instances have even had impacts in Crucible matches, leading some players to be wrongly reported for cheating or intentional gameplay sabotage.

Fragment 3 rewritten: Despite the appearance of several new bugs in Destiny 2's latest season, Season of the Deep has been a somewhat rocky experience for players. One issue that players commonly encountered at the start of the season was instant death upon executing an enemy with a finisher, which has also been known to occur when crushing a Hive Ghost. Fortunately, Bungie has acknowledged the current issues and is working to fix them in future hotfixes. Destiny 2 is playable on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
