HoYoverse has just announced the exciting addition of the highly requested Honkai: Star Rail feature. With each update, the video game studio strives to enhance players' overall gaming experience. In the latest Version 1.2, Honkai: Star Rail brings numerous game optimizations and features, including a trial for all five-star characters and various quality of life updates.
Currently in the second phase of Version 1.2, Honkai: Star Rail showcases Kafka as the featured five-star character, accompanied by the introduction of Luka as the new four-star unit. This version will be available until September, at which point Imbibitor Lunae and Fu Xuan will take the spotlight as the banner characters. Additionally, Version 1.3 may incorporate a highly requested feature for the in-game Friends Chat.
In the most recent blog post titled "Voice of the Galaxy" on HoYoLab, HoYoverse made an exciting announcement. They revealed that chat stickers will now be available in Honkai: Star Rail's Friends Chat feature on Version 1.3, with plans to introduce even more stickers in future updates. Although HoYoverse has yet to unveil the specific designs of these chat stickers, Honkai: Star Rail had previously shared images of adorable chibi characters that players could utilize in their messaging apps. These charming icons closely resemble the chat stickers exchanged between characters within the game.
The "Voice of the Galaxy" blog also mentioned other enhancements to improve the game, including boosted Trailblaze Power and the option for players to review previous dialogues. Many Honkai: Star Rail players expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming Version 1.3 updates and thanked HoYoverse for their continuous efforts to enhance the game. In contrast, some players noticed that Honkai: Star Rail seemed to receive more favorable feature updates compared to Genshin Impact.
While there is still room for improvement in certain aspects, Honkai: Star Rail, being a relatively new game, has plans to address these areas in the future, as stated in the previous "Voice of the Galaxy" blog in May. The developer acknowledged the fan request to tone down Seele's ultimate animation, assuring players that it is a priority but would require time to implement. Players can look forward to more quality of life updates that will further optimize the game. In the meantime, they can continue to summon and build Kafka for their team compositions and participate in the Treasure Hunt event.
Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation 5 version launches in Q4 2023.
