Destiny 2: Season Of The Wish - Week 1 Challenges Guide

The seasonal structure of Destiny 2 is reaching its conclusion in Season of the Wish. However, there are still new seasonal objectives to pursue over the next few months. Similar to past seasons, Season 23's challenges will include engaging in new activities, utilizing specific weapons, and earning generous rewards for showcasing your skills in enemy-filled environments.

It's worth noting that completing all seasonal challenges will grant you a significant amount of Bright Dust, which can be used to acquire appealing cosmetic items such as weapon ornaments, Exotic sparrows, and emotes.

In Season 23, things are pretty much the same as usual. By finishing the first part of the new seasonal storyline, you'll gain extra XP in Wishseeker I. You can also head to the Dreaming City and the EDZ to take part in public events, Lost Sectors, bounties, and patrols to check The City a Wish Built and EDZ Activities off your list. Using a bow, hand cannon, pulse rifle, or auto rifle with primary ammo in Vanguard activities like Strikes, PvP, and Gambit will help you complete Focused Intention quickly. If you're on the premium rewards track of the season pass, the new Dragon's Breath rocket launcher will be unlocked instantly, allowing you to have fun playing with it. Dragon's Defender will also be another challenge that you can quickly tackle as well.

Seasonal Bonuses are also making a return in Season 23, offering great perks as you progress through missions and activities.

Get final blows with weapons using primary ammo in ritual activities. Earn bonus progress for bow, hand cannon, pulse rifle, or auto rifle final blows. Guardian kills also count.

Seasonal Bonuses

Wishful Armor Focusing

Acquire a complete set of Season of the Wish armor to activate the seasonal bonus: Wish engrams are able to be focused into specific high-stat pieces of Season of the Wish armor.

Focus Season of the Wish or reprised Undying weapons to unlock the Wishful Weapon Focusing seasonal bonus. This bonus allows you to focus Wish engrams into individual weapons from these seasons, but you must first obtain the weapons before you can focus them.

Unlock the following seasonal bonus by clearing pathways in the Riven's Lair playlist or within The Coil: Each week, your first Wish weapon engram focused with Spirit of Riven in the HELM is guaranteed to contain a weapon with a Deepsight Resonance pattern that you do not have.

Solecrafting

To unlock the seasonal bonus, defeat Vex using reprised Undying weapons. This will guarantee that your first Undying weapon engram focused with the Spirit of Riven in the HELM each week will contain a weapon with a Deepsight Resonance pattern that you do not have.

Wishful Generosity

Reach Rank 10 with the Spirit of Riven in the HELM to unlock the following seasonal bonus: Completing activities grants an additional Wish engram anytime one is rewarded.

Unlock additional Wish engrams by redeeming Lair Keys when opening Lair Chests in Riven's Lair or The Coil. When used in Riven's Lair activities, Lair Keys offer the chance to earn seasonal bonuses.

Unlock the following seasonal bonus by completing The Coil activity with a Silver or higher score: When you redeem a Lair key in Riven's Lair or The Coil each week, you will receive a Season of the Wish weapon with a Deepsight Resonance pattern that you do not already have.

Rewards for Completing the Blind Well

After activating the Heroic encounter, complete the Blind Well activity in the Dreaming City to access a special seasonal bonus. A successful completion of the Blind Well on Tier Three or higher each week will reward you with a Wish engram and either a high-stat piece of Season of the Wish armor or a Season of the Wish weapon.

Fulfill Your Desires with The Coil's Dragon's Gifts

When you purchase Tier Two or higher Dragon's Gifts, you'll unlock the seasonal bonus that allows you to access more options. For the best progress, consider purchasing Tier Three Dragon's Gifts. Tier Two and Tier Three Dragon's Gifts now offer an additional selection to choose from.

Destiny 2's Season of the Wish is finally here, and I couldn't be more excited. This season is all about exploring the secrets of the Dreaming City and uncovering the truth behind the mysterious Wish Dragons. I can't wait to dive into the new story missions and activities and discover all the new secrets that are waiting to be found.

One of the things I'm most looking forward to this season is the new seasonal challenges. These challenges will give me something to strive for each week, and I can't wait to see what rewards I can earn for completing them. I'm also excited to see how the new seasonal bonuses will work. These bonuses will give me an extra boost to my stats and abilities, and I can't wait to see how they can help me take my gameplay to the next level.
