Since its release in 2017, Bungie has continuously added new content to Destiny 2, including fresh abilities, enemies, and locations through expansions like Lightfall. Additionally, the introduction of the battle pass system in Shadowkeep has been well-received by players due to the associated rewards. While these content updates are often praised, the recent changes made to Jolt have resulted in criticism from fans. The chain lightning-like skill has been altered, leading to a backlash among some players.
As part of the recent reworks for Destiny 2 Season 21, Jolt has undergone a nerf that has significantly reduced its damage output, particularly against single targets.
