Daniella Karagach has delayed the start of her participation in the Dancing With the Stars live tour due to an injury. In an Instagram Story posted on Wednesday, December 13, the 30-year-old dancer explained her decision, expressing her excitement for the tour and her commitment to giving her best performance on stage by allowing herself the time to heal properly before hitting the road.
She announced, "Regrettably, I won't be able to join the tour for the first month as I continue to heal. The incredibly talented @alexis_warr will be stepping in for me during that time."
Scheduled to commence on January 11, 2024, the DWTS 2024 live shows will begin in Richmond, Virginia. Hosted by fellow professional dancer Emma Slater, the show will showcase original performances by many of the competition's stars. Alongside Karagach and her husband, Pasha Pashkov, Alan Bersten, Britt Stewart, Brandon Armstrong, Gleb Savchenko, and Rylee Arnold will also be part of the tour. Notably, DWTS choreographers Jenna Johnson, Artem Chigvinstev, and Val Chmerkovskiy are set to make appearances in select cities.
Furthermore, DWTS host Julianne Hough and contestants Charity Lawson, Harry Jowsey, and reigning champ Xochitl Gomez are scheduled to perform at select tour dates.
Karagach is set to return to the tour in early February. "I'm thrilled to be back dancing again," she stated on Wednesday. "Looking forward to seeing all of you there."
Karagach and her most recent celebrity partner, Jason Mraz, earned a second-place finish on season 32. Mraz, 46, expressed his perspective on their success, stating, "We may not have won, but we were right there at the end. To me, that's a victory. Everyone who danced in the finale is a winner in my eyes, because we've all reached the end of the competition. We're all going home tonight."
