Britt Stewart may not have won the mirrorball trophy on season 31 of Dancing With the Stars, but she did find love with her dance partner, Daniel Durant. Despite not reaching their highest hopes, both Britt and Daniel are content with how their season played out. During an exclusive interview with We on Monday, August 7, Britt discussed her nonprofit Share the Movement's collaboration with BAND-AID® Brand OURTONE® for three summer dance clinics, emphasizing that they believe everything happens for a reason and that their journey on Dancing With the Stars concluded when it was meant to.
Stewart expressed her immense pride in the accomplishments she and Durant achieved as a couple during the previous season. Not only did they reach the semifinals in November 2022, but they also garnered significant attention for the ASL and the deaf community, given Durant's deafness. Stewart couldn't contain her excitement and jokingly stated that they had something even better than the coveted mirrorball trophy.

When questioned about Durant being her "eternal dance companion," Stewart responded optimistically, stating, "I am hopeful. Time will tell."
The skilled dancer, who was recently spotted journeying to Barbados and Durant's birthplace in Minnesota alongside her partner, playfully hinted at the frequent occasions where they dance together beyond the confines of the television program.
"We still enjoy dancing together and we were fortunate that he could join us on the Dancing With the Stars Tour this winter. He spent two weeks with us, which made the transition from constantly dancing together to not dancing together much easier," Stewart recalled. "I even surprised him with a spontaneous tango date, and we had a blast. He absolutely loved it. And from time to time, we'll both spontaneously start dancing cha cha, which is his favorite dance, in the kitchen."
Stewart expressed her admiration for Durant, stating that "being with Daniel brings me the greatest joy in life." The couple, who confirmed their relationship in February, are currently growing and learning about each other as they find their own rhythm together.
"The life we aspire to build holds utmost significance and is truly extraordinary," she conveyed. "Moreover, all the journeys we embark on and the varied experiences we share are simply added perks."

Stewart's work with Share The Movement, a nonprofit, is a significant blessing in her life. She recently collaborated with BAND-AID® Brand OURTONE® to empower the Black and Brown dance community through the healing power of dance. In New York City, three dance clinics will be held featuring panels with BIPOC dancers. Stewart feels a deep personal connection to this partnership, as she has been dancing since the age of 3 and understands the importance of BAND-AID in the lives of dancers who often face cuts and scrapes during rehearsals and performances.
She emphasized, "No matter your role as a dancer, you'll always need a BAND-AID®. Therefore, partnering with a brand that genuinely promotes diversity and addresses the issue of underrepresentation is truly meaningful."
