This information was shared during their training sessions with We and other reporters. "Before, my interpreter [Gabe Gomez] would be present to interpret for us during practice. But now, he gradually fades away during our sessions, which is a pleasant change. She truly understands me."
Despite being eliminated in the semifinals of November 2022, Durant and Stewart's relationship has continued to grow.

Despite no longer being partners on the reality show, the professional dancer mentioned that they still enjoy dancing together. "He particularly enjoys the cha cha, so sometimes he'll unexpectedly grab me in the kitchen, or I'll initiate a spontaneous dance with him," she revealed.
