Jamie Lynn Spears is getting unexpected support from her former brother-in-law, Kevin Federline, on Dancing with the Stars. Federline, 45, who was previously married to Britney Spears from 2004 to 2006, expressed his unwavering support for Jamie Lynn in a video posted on Tuesday, October 3 by TMZ.
The 32-year-old Zoey 101 alum is among the 14 celebrities competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in season 32 of Dancing with the Stars. Jamie Lynn, partnered with professional dancer Alan Bersten, has created a "fun" dynamic together. Bersten expressed his admiration for Jamie Lynn's work ethic, stating that she is one of the most dedicated individuals he has ever encountered. Their rehearsals are enjoyable, but Jamie Lynn's genuine commitment makes her an ideal partner.
He added, "We are incredibly productive, yet there is a sense of joy in everything we do. Jamie Lynn's energy brings a certain ease to the process. It's not challenging or difficult, it all just flows effortlessly. I am grateful for that." Despite having support from Bersten and Federline, the Sweet Magnolias star has experienced a bumpy journey with her sister Britney, 41, due to Britney's 13-year conservatorship and its aftermath.
Recently, Jamie Lynn and Britney have reconciled and are now on good terms. Jamie Lynn spoke to Variety in July, where she shared about their relationship and even advised her daughter Maddie to feel immense pride in her aunt.
She expressed her unwavering love for each and every one of her family members, emphasizing that they held a special place in her heart. Reflecting on the past year, she acknowledged the challenges of being open and feeling the need to defend herself at times. However, she now firmly believes that there is nothing more to be said, and she chooses to keep certain conversations private and personal.
In June, Britney excitedly shared her joy in spending quality time with her younger sister.
The singer known as "Toxic" recently gained attention for her separation from personal trainer Sam Asghari, ending their 14-month marriage. Asghari, 29, officially filed for divorce from Britney in August, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for their decision to part ways.
Before her marriages to Asghari and Federline, Britney had a brief marriage to her childhood friend, Jason Alexander, in 2002. This was prior to her becoming a mother of two sons, Sean Preston (18) and Jayden James (17), whom she shares with Federline.
