Blac Chyna and Brian Austin Green have put their Special Forces feud behind them.
Chyna, 35, revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, published on Wednesday, October 4, just two days after her departure from the show, that their relationship had significantly improved following their argument. "We have genuinely become closer and developed a great rapport," she expressed. Chyna further explained that whenever she sees him, they warmly greet each other with hugs, and their friendship has truly blossomed.
The altercation between the reality stars took place on the season 2 premiere of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, which aired on September 25. During the argument, Chyna and the 50-year-old Beverly Hills 90210 star engaged in a disagreement about the temperature in their living quarters. He questioned her need for a blanket, and he also accused her of giving him unwarranted "dirty looks."
Tempers escalated further when Green challenged Chyna's attitude, exclaiming, "Why am I stuck sharing a bunk with you? Unbelievable." Chyna, visibly upset, promptly exited the room, refusing to tolerate the critical remarks from her fellow cast members. Asserting herself, she declared, "I come from D.C., so don't test me. I won't stand for it... Cut it out. I'm not here for games." Unsure if Green's remarks were meant in jest or seriousness, she expressed her confusion, saying, "I'm not sure if you're joking or being sincere."
Chyna and Green developed a strong bond on the show after the conflicts, but she felt that Green made a mistake when he questioned her personality.
"I believed that I didn't exhibit any attitude. That's just who I am, you know? I wasn't being disrespectful," Chyna expressed. "I simply maintained a serious and composed demeanor to convey the importance of my presence. However, others misinterpreted it as having an attitude."
She also expressed that the uncertainty surrounding Green's remarks, whether they were meant seriously or as a joke, intensified their disagreement.
"I was uncertain if he was teasing me or genuinely attempting to belittle me and undermine my reputation, and this made me adopt a defensive stance," she elaborated.
In the episode, Green openly acknowledged that he can be difficult and enjoys teasing others from time to time.
Before joining Special Forces, both Green and Chyna had already made appearances on various reality shows. Green had competed on The Masked Singer, The Masked Dancer, and Dancing With the Stars, among others. Chyna, on the other hand, had occasionally appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians before starring in her own short-lived series. This included Rob & Chyna, which aired 7 episodes in 2016, and The Real Blac Chyna, which aired 13 episodes in 2019.
Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, however, presents a significantly more arduous trial involving rigorous physical exercises and military training led by former members of the Special Forces.
Chyna expressed her desire to push her limits, as the show's title implies.
"I was genuinely curious about my limits," she revealed to ET. "After watching season 1, I realized there's a stark contrast between being a spectator and being actively involved."
"And I have to admit, it was an incredibly demanding experience," she remarked. "However, I'm grateful that I took the plunge."
Chyna decided to leave the series on October 2nd episode of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test due to her unwillingness to participate in a daring 330-foot dam race. Green, on the other hand, continues to be a part of the show. Catch the action-packed episodes of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test on Fox every Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
