Megan Fox responded to criticism about her sons wearing "girls' clothes" by calling out Robby Starbuck for using her child's gender identity as a means to gain attention in his political campaign. She emphasized that children should never be used as leverage or social currency, and that exploiting a child's gender identity is morally wrong.

Starbuck, a congressional candidate and former music video director, recently shared photos on Twitter of Megan Fox spending time with her children. According to Starbuck, who claims to have lived in the same neighborhood as Fox, he witnessed two of her children having a breakdown while being forced to wear girls' clothing by their mother. Starbuck deemed this behavior as "pure child abuse."

Both Megan Fox, the Transformers actress, and Brian Austin Green, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, have denied the allegations of forcing their kids to wear certain outfits. Green dismissed the accusations as a completely false story, and claimed that only a few people in their world could verify the truth of these allegations. He further added that the person trying to claim this is a perfect example of someone with selfish motives that does not care about negatively affecting a parent-child relationship.

In her Instagram message, Fox acknowledged that she has faced similar attacks from men like Starbuck in the past but has persevered. She confidently stated that he had chosen to mess with the wrong person by targeting her, and signed off with a strong message. Additionally, Fox has been open about her support for her sons and their individuality in the past.

"My child's journey is one of bravery, and I am honored to witness it," Fox shared with Glamour UK during her April 2022 cover story. Noah has been wearing dresses since the age of 2, and while Fox admits to having worries about how society may respond to his gender expression, she remains determined to create a safe and inclusive environment for her child. "From a young age, I have made a conscious effort to incorporate diversity and acceptance into their daily lives. I cannot control the reactions of others, but I am proud of my child's courage and will continue to support them on their journey."
