Asher HaVon, who was mentored by famous country music artist Reba McEntire, emerged as the champion of season 25 of The Voice.
"Thank you for providing me with a supportive environment to truly be myself," expressed HaVon, 31, to McEntire moments before being crowned the winner of the competition. "I am grateful for your belief in me, and I assure you that I will always strive to make you proud."
HaVon impressed coaches Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, and McEntire during his audition on The Voice with his rendition of Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain." He mentioned that his singing experience mostly came from performing at church. The judges all complimented his voice, but in the end, HaVon decided to join Team McEntire.
During the episode in March 2024, HaVon expressed his admiration for Chance but ultimately chose to be on Team McEntire. Three months later, he and McEntire emerged as the winners.
HaVon expressed his gratitude and excitement on Instagram after winning @nbcthevoice Season 25. He shared, "Wow! I am speechless! I am truly humbled and grateful for this moment." He thanked God for the gift and opportunity to showcase his talent on the show. He also thanked @nbcthevoice for providing a platform for contestants to display their gifts.
Additionally, HaVon thanked McEntire for changing his life and creating a milestone that he will cherish forever. He affectionately referred to her as "You have changed my life and created a milestone in my life that I will have forever. I am your son for life."

To his surprise, HaVon not only made it into the choir but also ended up leading the group and singing in front of former President Obama at the commemorative event.
