Reba McEntire's team on The Voice had to head into the season 24 Playoffs with one less member. Coach Reba McEntire made the revelation on the Monday, November 27 episode that contestant Tom Nitti had left the show for personal reasons, leaving her with only five artists for the night.
Even without Nitti, Team Reba's Ruby Leigh, Jordan Rainer, Jacquie Roar, Noah Spencer, and Ms. Monét impressed the coaches and viewers with their singing talents on stage. "My team is gonna light the stage on fire," McEntire declared. "You better watch."
Following five show-stopping performances, McEntire ultimately selected Rainer, Roar, and Leigh to advance as her final three for The Voice's Top 12 live show. Later in the episode, coach Gwen Stefani narrowed down her team to contestants BIAS, Kara Tenae, and Tanner Massey.
McEntire supported Nitti from the start of the season, being the only coach to turn her chair during his blind audition when he sang “Sign, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)” by Stevie Wonder. She expressed her excitement that he would be on her team and teasing the other coaches for not picking Nitti. Nitti also impressed during the Battle Round with his performance of “’Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson, which earned praise from McEntire. Additionally, he received a standing ovation from coach Stefani during the Knockouts.

Nitti, who was applauded by Stefani during the Knockouts this season, was a member of McEntire's first team. Earlier this year, it was revealed that McEntire would be taking over as coach after longtime coach Blake Shelton announced his departure from the NBC series. "There's a new Coach in town!" she wrote in the caption of a May Instagram post featuring the show's iconic red chair. "See you all this Fall!"
McEntire had previously appeared on season 1 of The Voice as a Battle Round adviser and again in season 8 as a Top 12 adviser. Last season, she served as the Mega Mentor during the Knockouts episodes.
