Unlike the already available characters Bailu and Natasha, Luocha offers unique utilities and ATK scaling. As Luocha's healing abilities rely on ATK, he needs a unique build compared to other healers in Honkai: Star Rail. However, when it comes to light cones, there are still numerous options that can benefit him, especially those that provide additional Outgoing Healing Bonus instead of HP, considering the limited availability of ATK bonus Abundance light cones. It's important to note that although players have access to a wide variety of light cones, the top choices for Luocha can only be obtained exclusively through Gacha, which may not be as accessible for free-to-play players.

To fully optimize the benefits, it is recommended for players to prioritize the Effect RES sub-stat on Luocha's relics, aiming for around 30% Effect RES from relics alone. This will allow players to efficiently maximize the Outgoing Healing from Perfect Timing, surpassing what can be achieved with other 4-star light cones of the same level. If a suitable 4-star or higher light cone is not available, players can opt for Cornucopia instead. This light cone has the advantage of easily reaching maximum superimposition with a 3-star light cone due to its accessibility, potentially increasing Luocha's Outgoing Healing to a higher level.

This not only improves his healing consistency, but also reduces his reliance on Skill usage. Therefore, optimizing Luocha's performance heavily relies on the Energy Regeneration Rate stat. However, it is important to note that Luocha cannot fully exploit the second effect of this light cone as his Ultimate does not include any healing abilities.

This additional effect is extremely advantageous since it allows Luocha to activate his burst more quickly for enhanced healing and helps allies utilize their own abilities, whether it is for additional DPS or team buffs.

Despite increasing max HP instead of ATK%, Bailu's signature light cone, Time Waits For No One, surprisingly synergizes well with Luocha. While the HP stat does not directly enhance his healing abilities, it does provide him with improved survivability, especially considering his typically lower HP values compared to Bailu and Natasha, who rely on HP stacking for more effective healing. Additionally, Time Waits For No One unconditionally boosts Luocha's Outgoing Healing value, making the primary effect of this light cone still advantageous for him. The secondary effect of the light cone also complements Luocha's sub-DPS role as it grants him an extra attack based on the healing value. Although not extremely significant, this can contribute to delivering the final blow in challenging content while consistently fulfilling his healing responsibilities. Another advantage of Time Waits For No One is its 5-star rarity, resulting in higher base stat values that can positively impact Luocha's healing and survivability potential.

Luocha benefits greatly from the Echoes Of The Coffin light cone, which is specifically tailored for him. It is currently the only Abundance light cone that provides ATK%, giving him a significant advantage in terms of healing and DPS potential. Additionally, using Basic ATK and Ultimate with this light cone allows Luocha to generate energy more frequently, enabling him to unleash his Ultimate more often. Furthermore, Luocha's Ultimate not only accumulates Abyss Flowers and deals AoE DPS, but also grants a significant speed boost to all allies for one turn. This speed enhancement not only provides a tactical advantage in terms of action priority for the team, but also activates the secondary effects of certain Planar Ornaments, such as Space Sealing Station or Fleet of the Ageless. These ornaments can further increase Luocha's ATK value if activated.
