Unveiling the Spectacular Character Kit of Honkai's Yukong on Star Rail!

In the second phase of the version 1.1 update for Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse has unveiled the character kit for Yukong, one of the newest characters to join the game alongside Luocha, Qingque, and Pela. Players will have the opportunity to summon Yukong to their party through a new Event Warp.

Following the global success of Genshin Impact, HoYoverse continues to invest in Honkai: Star Rail, regularly introducing new events, features, areas, and playable characters. The first post-launch update, version 1.1, was released on June 7, focusing on the introduction of the playable character Silver Wolf and her backstory. Despite a bug affecting one of the ongoing events and its rewards, the community responded positively to the first phase of Honkai: Star Rail version 1.1. HoYoverse addressed the issue by compensating affected players with Stellar Jades. The second phase of version 1.1 is set to launch on June 28.

Today, HoYoverse released a fresh blog post on HoYoLab, providing a glimpse into the official character kit for Yukong. This includes details about her powerful Ultimate, Technique, and Talent abilities. Yukong is an Imaginary-type character with a four-star rating, specializing in supporting allies by enhancing their attack power and critical chance. When it comes to her basic attack, called Arrowslinger, Yukong inflicts Imaginary damage on individual targets. Her Talent, Seven Layers, One Arrow, not only adds extra damage to her basic attack but also reduces the enemy's Toughness stat. Additionally, Yukong's Emboldening Salvo skill bestows two stacks of Roaring Bowstrings, boosting the overall attack stats of all allies in the battle.

While exploring the world of Honkai: Star Rail, Yukong can utilize her Chasing the Wind Technique to enhance her sprint speed for a duration of 20 seconds. If Yukong engages in battle during this duration, she will receive two stacks of Roaring Bowstrings at the beginning of her turn. Yukong's Ultimate ability, Diving Kestrel, inflicts significant Imaginary damage on a single target while simultaneously increasing critical rates and damage for allies as long as Roaring Bowstrings remains active.

Yukong is a dependable character who aids other DPS characters by granting attack buffs. She possesses the ability to deal substantial damage to individual targets, which makes her a potential favorite for boss encounters. Furthermore, her Trace abilities enable her to resist debuffs and recover more energy, allowing her to reactivate Roaring Bowstrings more swiftly in prolonged boss battles. The five-star healing character Luocha could prove advantageous for Yukong as they offer support and assist in repelling enemy attacks.

The Yukong's Event Warp will be accessible from June 28 to July 18, providing players with approximately three weeks to summon the new character. The anticipated release date for Honkai: Star Rail version 1.2 is in mid-July, with HoYoverse potentially sharing more information during a special program live stream.

Honkai: Star Rail can currently be played on Android, iOS, and PC, with a PlayStation 5 version set to launch in Q4 2023.
