Based on the trailer for season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise, it appears that Aven Jones is set to find love on the beautiful beaches of Mexico. In an August teaser, 29-year-old Aven expressed to Kylee Russell, "I haven't felt like this in a long time," as the footage showed them passionately kissing on a one-on-one date.
Aven and Kylee, both 26, were seen sitting together at the upcoming Paradise wedding. The identity of the couple getting married on the beach remains unknown.
Aven's participation in BiP will bring him back together with Rachel Recchia, the former lead of his previous show. He will also be reunited with Tyler Norris and Jordan Vandergriff, who were contestants on season 19. Aven captioned a second promo clip on his Instagram Story on Thursday, September 28, with the words "Oh boy."

Aven made his first appearance on season 19 of The Bachelorette and ultimately chose Rachel over her co-lead Gabby Windey. He managed to reach the final two, but Rachel, aged 27, ended their relationship due to his reluctance to propose within the accelerated timeline. (Rachel later accepted a proposal from Tino Franco, but their relationship ended several weeks later after he kissed another woman.)

“I truly have such strong feelings for him, that all I want is for him to be happy, whether that means being with me or finding happiness elsewhere. I genuinely want to witness him thriving,” Rachel effused about Aven during an October 2022 interview on the “Off the Vine” podcast. “As for the future, I can't really say. I'm definitely open to see what unfolds, but we have both been through so much. I just arrived back in L.A. after all the events on the show — New York, Vegas. So I think we're both just going to let things evolve naturally and see if there is a future for us.”

Aven did not make an appearance on Bachelor in Paradise season 8, but he was reportedly expected to attend the reunion.
"I find it crazy. At first, I received an invitation to go to the reunion and show support for my friends," he tweeted in November 2022. "I wonder why I'm no longer invited."

Aven insisted that he was granted an opportunity to attend the event to support his acquaintances from season 19, Tyler and Johnny DePhillipo. 5. How Did Aven Jones Join the Bachelor Nation Franchise?
During a September 2022 interview on the “Click Bait With Bachelor Nation” podcast, he revealed that he was nominated for the show anonymously, and to this day, he remains unaware of the identity of the person who nominated him. Constantly on the lookout, whenever he spends time with friends or family, he wonders which one of them might be the responsible party. The show reached out to him, and he had discussions with his parents to ascertain their thoughts on the matter.
Aven added: “My dad wasn’t into the show, but my mom had caught a couple seasons. She thought it was fake and couldn’t be real, but now they’ve seen.”
