Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk, a successful couple from Bachelor Nation, have managed to survive post-Bachelor in Paradise, and have finally exchanged their vows after several pandemic-related setbacks. Due to the coronavirus crisis, Gates had to replan their wedding three times before finally tying the knot. Despite having to halt the planning process entirely at one point, she remained optimistic and told Adam that they could elope and get married at home if there was no end in sight. However, with a light at the end of the tunnel, the couple decided to reschedule their wedding for the fourth time.
After multiple postponements due to the pandemic, the wedding finally took place in April 2021, marking a joyous occasion for Grey Suede owner, Raven Gates, and her now-husband, Adam Gottschalk. The couple's love story began during the filming of BiP season 4 in 2017, where they hit it off and continued their relationship off-camera. Despite not proposing during the show, the couple remained committed and knew they needed more time to nurture their bond due to living in different cities. Gates jokingly mentioned in an interview that she was promised a "really big ring" by Gottschalk, and they felt no pressure from producers to get engaged on the show.
Just shy of two years later, the duo disclosed their engagement on Instagram with a collection of photographs that showcased their undeniable affection for each other. Along with a glimpse of her dazzling ring, the Arkansas native wrote, "I'm keeping you forever and for always. We will be together all of our days."
During the lengthy engagement period, the couple devoted ample time to contemplate their future and starting a family. "I have baby fever, but Adam has extreme baby fever," Gates revealed to Us in August 2020. She also mentioned that if they accidentally conceived a child, it would be "totally fine" since her partner was more than eager to become a dad.
Prior to starting their family, the couple prioritized their highly anticipated ceremony at the Olana in Dallas, which they expected to be filled with intense emotion. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Gottschalk expressed their readiness for the wedding in a video tour of the venue in March 2021. Check out their love story below, as seen on Bachelor Nation.
