Bachelor in Paradise couple Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb have recently announced their engagement, after being in a relationship for over two years. In a joint Instagram post on August 9, the couple quoted Taylor Swift's "Lover" and expressed their love for each other. The romantic proposal took place on the picturesque beach of San Diego.
The couple crossed paths during the production of the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. However, even before they set foot on the Mexican beach, Erb had already taken a liking to Heringer. Every week, they exchanged roses as a symbol of their connection, affirming their shared understanding. Nevertheless, as the show unfolded, their relationship encountered some difficulties. When the former contestant from season 16 of The Bachelorette confessed his feelings of love for Heringer, she didn't immediately reciprocate, leading Erb to withdraw.
Heringer’s initial hesitation caused her to feel like she was harming their relationship, prompting her to disclose to Erb that she too was developing feelings of love for him. However, on a prom-themed date in paradise, Erb abruptly ended their romance. The former contestant from season 25 of The Bachelor expressed feeling completely caught off guard by Erb's sudden change of heart, and the two departed Mexico separately.
Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer shocked Bachelor Nation by revealing their reunion on the night of the season finale. In October 2021, Erb shared on Instagram, "You never realize the value of something until it's gone, but once you do, you never want to let it go. Introducing my new girlfriend to the world; it turns out we have great communication skills, and I intend to keep her."
Heringer joyfully announced the news on her social media page through a heartwarming video montage featuring her and Erb enjoying their time together, accompanied by Miley Cyrus' song "Adore You." Her caption read, “@NoahErb, I love you."
In 2022, Erb and Heringer made the decision to live together, putting an end to their long-distance relationship. Reflecting on their new arrangement, Erb commented, “I'm not used to hair being all over the place," with Heringer smiling and nodding in response. He later reassured, "It has been good and fun."
Feeling the immense pressure from fans to get married, Heringer admitted that whenever she posts a picture of the couple without any formal announcement, fans eagerly anticipate an engagement and urge them to tie the knot. She expressed her astonishment at the level of expectations.
Although the couple remains unfazed by the pressure from their supporters, Erb acknowledged that he understands why they feel that way, as he believes they would make an excellent married couple.
