Mexico has a certain allure that can make anyone fall in love. Although numerous couples have become engaged on Bachelor in Paradise, only a select few have managed to stay together, tie the knot, and even start a family!
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul were the first couple from Bachelor in Paradise to achieve this "success." Marcus proposed to Lacy during the season 1 finale in 2014. Despite being brought back for season 2 in 2015 to inspire the new cast, and even having a wedding ceremony officiated by then-host Chris Harrison, viewers later discovered that their marriage was not legally binding.
Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert made history as the first genuine couple to find love on season 2 of the spinoff. Their wedding, which took place in January 2016, was broadcasted on ABC on Valentine's Day. Since then, the couple has joyfully expanded their family, welcoming three children: Emmy (born in August 2017), Brooks (born in July 2019), and Reed (born in November 2020).
In season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, Carly Waddell and Evan Bass followed suit by exchanging vows in 2017. They were blessed with a daughter named Bella and a son named Charlie before ultimately deciding to end their relationship in December 2020.
A BiP duo, Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, got married in August 2019, followed by Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk in April 2021. According to the Grey Suede owner, they did not feel pressured to stay together as they were not heavily focused on by Bachelor Nation. This lack of pressure allowed them to avoid constant scrutiny about their relationship status and wedding plans.

‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Couples Who Are Still Together
Something about Mexico has a way of captivating people's hearts. Although many couples form connections on Bachelor in Paradise, only a few have managed to build a lasting relationship, tying the knot and even starting a family!
Leading the pack are Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul, who became the very first "success story" of Bachelor in Paradise. In the unforgettable finale of the show's inaugural season in 2014, Marcus proposed to Lacy, setting a precedent for future couples. However, despite their return to the show in 2015 to offer hope to the season 2 cast, their wedding ceremony, overseen by the then-host Chris Harrison, was revealed to have no legal validity.
Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert made history as the first genuine couple to find love on season 2 of the spinoff. Their wedding, which took place in January 2016, was televised on ABC on Valentine's Day. Since then, they have been blessed with three children: Emmy (born in August 2017), Brooks (born in July 2019), and Reed (born in November 2020).
In season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, Carly Waddell and Evan Bass also found their happily ever after and got married in 2017. The couple celebrated the births of their daughter Bella and son Charlie before announcing their separation in December 2020.
Two years later, in August 2019, Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, an on-again, off-again couple from BiP, finally tied the knot. Following their footsteps, Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk, the couple from Season 4, got married in April 2021. In June 2021, the Grey Suede owner mentioned on Us' "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast that there was no pressure on them to stay together. They felt that people in Bachelor Nation had somewhat forgotten about them, which was actually beneficial as it relieved them from constant scrutiny regarding their engagement and wedding plans.

Pieper James and Brendan Morais
In June 2021, it was reported that Brendan and Pieper were already dating before filming for season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise began. This relationship became a storyline on the show. Brendan was the first to arrive on the beach and started a romance with Natasha Parker. However, when Pieper arrived, their attention was solely on each other. Some of their fellow cast members suspected that they had planned their relationship before the show, but Brendan and Pieper denied these allegations. Despite leaving the show together, they faced backlash for how Brendan treated Natasha and their comments about gaining Instagram followers from appearing on the spinoff. Off-screen, tension arose between them. In October 2021, the model confirmed that she and Brendan were still together despite the drama.
On the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, Pieper explained why they didn't immediately go public after the show's finale aired. She stated, "The reason we didn't choose to go public like everybody else in the show was just because, obviously, our experience was a little bit different. We tainted our own experience in that way, so we are kind of working on ourselves and each other and we're focusing on being a couple before taking that public because this isn't an easy thing to go through."

During season 7, the pair stirred up controversy when their fellow cast members alleged that they had prearranged their relationship before filming started. Despite vehemently denying these accusations, they ultimately departed from the beach separately under the influence of their colleagues' insistence. However, in October 2021, they disclosed that they had indeed decided to genuinely explore their romantic connection shortly after the onscreen turmoil.
Alana excitedly declared on her Instagram Story, "Wherever I am with you, that's my Paradise," while Chris happily revealed, "No cameras or producers for 3 months."

I can't contain my emotions," Kenny expressed. "Mari, I am deeply and passionately in love with you. I cannot imagine my life without you. You have transformed my perspective on life with your incredible qualities. Mari Pepin, would you do me the honor of marrying me?”

I believe it's because of our unique bond and our ability to block out external opinions. When you participate in the show, there will always be people who have both positive and negative views about your relationship. However, we have chosen to ignore the negativity and focus on living our own lives."
