Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke have changed their plans of tying the knot in Mexico. However, the travel-loving Bravo stars don't require a wedding as a reason to go on a vacation.

During an episode of Scheana Shay’s “Scheananigans” podcast on Friday, October 6, the Vanderpump Rules star, who is 38 years old, revealed to Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner that she will still be going to Cancun, despite the cancellation of Hubbard, 37, and Radke, 38's wedding. Shay explained that although she and her husband didn't have a honeymoon after their own wedding the previous year, they received an email allowing them to continue with their plans. She also mentioned that Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula will be joining them, making it their unofficial honeymoon.

DeSorbo, who is 30 years old, noted that many Bravolebrities had a similar idea regarding the canceled wedding weekend.

"It seems like quite a few people are actually considering that. There was even talk about everyone booking rooms. Personally, since BravoCon is happening right before, I'll probably just use the time to catch up on sleep," shared the star of Summer House. With a playful tone, DeSorbo added, "I think a lot of people are doing the same thing you are. Is there a possibility that cameras will follow and capture everyone's activities?"

Radke and Hubbard were only three months away from getting married before Radke broke off their engagement during the filming of season 8 of Summer House.

According to an exclusive source, Hubbard was completely taken by surprise when the engagement was called off, but for Radke, it had been a long time coming. Emotionally, he had not been invested in the relationship for quite some time. This news has left Hubbard heartbroken and in a difficult place, despite the support of her friends and family.

Radke contacted their wedding guests to provide an update on their wedding, acknowledging the challenges they had faced in the past two weeks. In a letter to attendees, Radke expressed their deep apologies for the confusion and lack of communication, explaining that they had been preoccupied resolving the circumstances that led to this situation before deciding on the next steps with Lindsay.

Radke urged their loved ones to fully utilize their reserved flight tickets and hotel accommodations in Mexico. “There have been numerous false narratives and misunderstandings that have exacerbated the pain, but unfortunately, we will not proceed with the wedding at this time,” he added. “The truth is Lindsay is devastated, and I'm deeply hurt by the way everything unfolded. I kindly request some understanding and empathy as we strive to heal and recover during this exceedingly challenging period."

In the meantime, Hubbard indirectly criticized Radke as she finally spoke up about the controversy.

The past two weeks have been the most devastating and emotional period of my life. My entire life and future were suddenly taken away from me, and I have struggled to find meaning in it all. There have been no answers or closure as to why this happened," she shared on Instagram last month. "I feel deeply embarrassed by how it unfolded, and at the same time, I am heartbroken that it occurred in the first place. My trust has been shattered, and accepting that has been a challenging journey for me."

According to Hubbard, the decision to end the relationship was not her own. "I strongly believe in exhausting every possible effort before giving up on a relationship of this magnitude," she emphasized. "During the past few weeks, I have been working on finding my own sense of closure and peace. I am forever indebted to my closest friends who have supported me unwaveringly and have helped me pick up the pieces of my shattered heart and life every single day."

Hubbard made the decision to prioritize her own well-being by embarking on a bachelorette trip to the exquisite Bahamas. Afterwards, she publicly commended her friends for transforming the getaway into a joyous occasion, rather than dwelling on her broken engagement.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on September 25, she expressed her overwhelming gratitude for her closest companions. Hubbard wrote, "I never imagined that such an incredible display of love could be captured in a single photograph. I am truly moved by the unwavering friendship, love, and strength of my best friends."

She went on to describe the unwavering support she received during the past three weeks, with her friends standing by her side through thick and thin. They comforted her in moments of despair, consoled her in shared tears, and uplifted her spirits when she felt desolate. In an unexpected turn of events, they continued with the planned trip despite its original purpose, recognizing its newfound significance.
