According to Luke Gulbranson, not all of his former Summer House castmates were genuine friends. In fact, some were only interested in using the show as a platform to earn a paycheck and lounge around all day until the cameras came on. He went on to explain that there were also others who were true friends and genuinely enjoyed themselves on the show.

According to Gulbranson, who was not a part of season 7 of the reality series that debuted in May, the latest season has lost its essence. Without taking any names, he expressed his candid thoughts on the show, stating that Summer House was originally created for people to enjoy and wish they were having fun with the cast. However, he believes that the show has shifted its focus to drama and fighting, with every girl seemingly trying to become a Real Housewife, which he feels is not what Summer House is about.

"In every friend group, conflicts and disagreements are inevitable. However, it doesn't have to be so negative all the time. We should learn to have some fun and not take everything too seriously," he stated.

Luke Gulbranson, founder of Luke's Maple Syrup, joined the cast of Bravo's show in 2020. However, it was confirmed in June 2022 that he, along with Andrea Denver and Alex Wach, would not be returning for the seventh season. Prior to this, Gulbranson was a part of the Winter House cast in the fall.

He announced on Instagram Live that he will not be appearing on Summer House this year. Despite missing his friends and feeling extremely bummed about not being able to spend the summer with them, he expressed gratitude for the past three years on the show. Although the reason for his departure remains unknown, he has been keeping busy by embarking on a passionate romance with former Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams.

The couple's relationship was first speculated in April, and Lindsay Hubbard, Adams' co-star in Summer House, seemed to confirm it with a now-deleted Easter post of the duo holding hands. The following month, Adams and Gulbranson were seen ring shopping. A source exclusively revealed to Us at the time that the two had developed strong feelings for each other in a short period. Despite others' opinions, the insider stated in May that the couple was committed to each other and their future together.
